My Gym Atwater Village

My son has been with this gym for 3 years now and it has been a great help prepping him for school. A clean and friendly environment. Awesome coaches! Every week there is a new routine. I love how there is free play during each class, and also children are expected to sit, listen, and participate during circle time. Special thanks to coach Tim for always being so fun! My son is very talkative and Coach Tim always patiently listens to him. Also a big shout out to coach Elizabeth, Alayna, Jasmin and Lana! You guys are all awesome.

My daughter loves it here. So fun, wonderful equipment, age appropriate classes, sweet and nurturing coaches, and they offer certain days for open free play as part of your membership.

Have been here a couple times with my one year old and we love it. We usually have the short coach with brown curly hair and she is great. My last visit on 8/16 at noon I went to the restroom to change my sons diaper and the door was open and I heard a woman changing a kids diaper (I assumed a mother) she was acting frustrated with the child and then yelled that he pooped was scoffed and acting even more annoyed. I was shocked when an employee (tall brunette/straight mid-length hair) exited the restroom with a child from the toddler class/camp. This was very disappointing and I hope it isn’t a representation of how she employee treats the kids. Truly heartbreaking.

The staff and owner are all very sweet. My kids love it.

My daughter has been going here since she was 6 months old and she looooves it. Everyone is really nice and the facility is perfect for those hot or cold days when you don’t feel like going to the park.

Beware! My toddler and I were enjoying our first Free Play session when I saw a woman walking around the room without a child, filming other people's children including my own. I waited to see if maybe her child was near, but she continued walking around alone filming. I asked her not to film my child and let the staff know immediately. Then I let another mom, whose child she had been filming, know what happened and she told me that the woman had been touching her child without permission. At the end of the class the woman's husband harassed me as I gathered my belongings. Then the manager came to speak to me in an accusatory tone and let me know that he was very upset that I had asked them not to film my child. He said it was okay for people to film in the space and he did not understand why it was a problem. He kept making excuses for the woman instead of addressing my concerns or asking her to change her behavior. At the very least, he could have asked her to delete the videos of our children, but he didn't. I would not feel safe bringing my child here again.

Before the mom and me opened the car door her toddler began to smile and get excited the baby immediately knew she was going to the gym playtime.The My Gym on San Fernando Rd. in Atwater is a structured gym program with loads of activities for children. They will want to come back again and again to enjoy an hour of funtime. The equipment is age appropriate and the kids learn while getting involved in different activities.Each class has a limited amount of children in each age group. You have to sign up and schedule in advance. My Gym is open to the littlest tots 6 weeks up to age 10.You can also book birthday parties. Check with My Gym policies on the birthday parties before you book since covid is still around.I give this My Gym location a high top of the ladder recommendation.

My daughter LOVES this place! You can’t beat the unlimited class membership and there’s classes available just about every day of the week that we can make it to. The classes are great and catered very well to her age (1 year) and the open gyms are a great opportunity for her to explore on her own terms. We’ve been going for a few months now and her confidence in her physical abilities is amazing and it’s great that she has a place to hang out with kids her age. Very clean, coaches are so kind and patient, and the space is super kid friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place more for your littles!
