Love this gym and have been coming for years. Whether you’re looking for a quick workout sesh in the gym or full on climbing on one of the many walls this gym has it all including a well appreciated sauna. The staff are also very nice and always helpful. I also very much enjoy all the yoga classes included in the membership.Of all the many positives this gym has to offer there’s only one complaint and that’s cleanliness. The bathrooms appear to rarely get deep cleans including the sauna. The gym area is also lacking in the clean department but overall the climbing areas are acceptable. With this one improvement I believe the overall quality of the gym would greatly be improved.

Large climbing gym with boulder walls and lead climbing. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and bouldered. The bathrooms are spacious and there are showers. The gym has a fair amount of equipment. Parking is available around the building (one way street) but if it’s full, there’s plenty of street parking as well. There’s a good mix of beginner as well as harder routes, but I felt that even the V0s and V1s were a bit spicy. You need to sign a waiver online beforehand. There are Groupons available for climbing classes which include a gym pass.

Great place. Wether you are looking for fund day or a place for kids Birthday party this is a great place. Most kids have a lot of fun and enjoy their time. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are very reasonably priced and have great packages. The only down side is the 2 time slide rule weather they are busy or not which does not make sense. When they are not busy, the staff is standing there doing nothing, it make sense to allow the kids to use the slide more 2 times. Just my opinion.I have climbed my self a few times and it is a lot of fun and is a workout. In my opinion this is the breakdown. Although because of the sliding rule they really deserve a 4 but I am giving them a 5 anyways.5 For the venue5 for Staff2 for the Slide rule

What makes this place phenomenal is that there are two floors of bouldering. The 2nd level bouldering area is under the same high ceiling as the tall climbing walls, so the atmosphere is absolutely fantastic.Down side is that the afternoons are overwhelmed with after school youths climbing whenever and wherever they please. The biggest downside to me is that the original clock that was up at an optimally visible location (for bouldering and system board areas) was moved to a much less convenient location where one cannot quickly glance at the time.

I’ve been climbing at Sender One since 2017 and it’s been an amazing experience. I was new to climbing at the time, but never did I feel judged or anything for not knowing what I was doing lol. Since then I ended up working there during college bc I liked it so much! The staff are always extremely friendly and they’ve become my community, and some my friends. The bouldering, lead, and top rope options are always really solid. The middle large lead wall called “the torch” is an amazing section that is great for training for outdoor big rock.

Loved our first time climbing here! We got a very comprehensive lesson using their rental gear, and if we come back soon enough we can get our belaying card as long as we retain what we were taught. Then we could climb as long as we wanted after the lesson. They have a huge variety of routes (bouldering, top rope, and sport) and a VERY tall climbing wall! Great experience.

Sender One LAX is a serious, tall, and cavernous indoor climbing gym. With multiple climbing walls and forms. The also have an okay gym area and an excellent separate children’s area.Additionally, the gym sells snacks and shirts and has shoes for rent or purchase.

So we have been to two parties at this venue. Extremely organized really safe and my daughter who before she attended was scared to climb anything. As you can see from the photos girl power!!! Shines through in this venue. It appeals to all ages including Grandparents who stand around and supervise!!!! A real hit will be using it for my summer campers next year.
