Northern Colorado Jiu Jitsu and Self Defense

I came here to try BJJ out for the first time. I was nervous about trying this, having no prior experience and being an overweight guy. Turns out I had nothing to worry about - I've been training for just over a month now, and I love it.Matt and Troy have established a great culture in this school, and all of the students I've met and trained with do an excellent job of maintaining it. Everyone has been very open, helpful, friendly, non-judgmental, and safety oriented. At the same time, you can tell the instructors and students are still serious about teaching/learning and improving their skills.If you even have the slightest inkling that you might want to try any of the programs this school offers, just go for it. I wish I had started sooner.

This is a great place for any age and experience level! They have built a great culture here. After checking out a few other gyms I found that they truly care about the students and do this because they want to, not because they feel like they have to. They have an excellent teaching style and take the time to learn your goals and experience level so they can better help everyone. All of the other students are great and will help anyone regardless of your age or experience.

NOCO Jiu Jitsu has been a great challenge for myself and my son both mentally and physically. The facility is great, the people are great and the instructors are awesome. We couldn't ask for a better place to have started our Jiu Jitsu journey. We look forward to many years to come.

Awesome place to train! There's no aggression and no egos on the mats. All the professors do a great job of explaining and also have open minds for different ways to do things. Get in and start training!

My kids and I enjoyed a special event at this studio. The staff and coaches are friendly and experienced. The studio itself is beautiful. We would recommend families take a tour; you will not be disappointed.

My son attended the anti bullying class and he had the greatest time. He learned some very valuable lessons during the class that he was able to retain! Highly recommended as everyone was so welcoming and the class was a great success

Matt and Troy do an excellent job of creating a welcoming environment for students joining their gym. They helped me get into better shape and learn some great skills while doing it.
