Northern Colorado Jiu Jitsu and Self Defense

Matt has been instrumental in being out the self confidence for our child to start Kindergarten last year. This is not about fighting it is about how to diffuse situations and self defense, he feels more confident and has become a leader in his classroom. Thank you Coach Matt and staff at NOCO jujitsu!

If you are looking for a Jiu Jitsu school with multiple Black Belts instruction, amazing student base, and an incredible culture, NOCO Jiu Jitsu is for you. Going on 8 years of training, I have been to all types of schools, to include ones that only see you as a number or don't care if you get hurt. This is NOT one of those schools. If you are looking for Jiu Jitsu in Loveland, CO, do not pass up this amazing school.

Our daughter participated in the anti-bullying workshop and she truly enjoyed herself. She had a lot of fun, felt very included, learned some techniques that made her feel more confident overall (even though it was only a couple of hours). All of this with a strong focus on respect, honesty, and kindness. Thank you! We will come again!

NoCo Jiu Jitsu is a great place to train. They teach you how to defend yourself in a safe and memorable way while having fun. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to start the jiu jitsu journey or continue their training.

I initially was told about this place nearly 2 years ago, by my neighbor. He would mention how good of a work out it was, how fun it was, and how much he learned from each class. But, you know, I was always "too busy" with life, and always pushed it off. Well, I finally had a good reason to check it out and join. I was going to a beach vacation, and after staying inside for the entirety of 2020, I was, let just say, pretty soft.Enter NoCo JiuJitsu.Going to the first few classes, I had absolutely NO IDEA what I was getting myself into, or that I would enjoy it as much as I do, but let me tell you, it's a blast! I was able to shed 10lbs (and counting), meet some great people, and start my journey. Matt and Troy have created a very welcoming atmosphere for all shapes, sizes, and skill levels. If you're on the fence about trying, just remember that we all had to go to the first awkward class where we didn't know anyone or anything. Getting over that fear is the first step.Hope to see you on the mat soon!

My experience with Northern Colorado has been truly amazing. It is for anyone wanting to learn for self defense purposes or to improve their skills in professions such as law enforcement. The instructors are professional and knowledgeable in relating information to a beginner or advanced student. I highly recommend!

I found this location on Google, super glad I did. I expected to walk in and get throttled a bunch until I got better. Not the case. Matt, Troy and crew take a seasoned, fun and serious approach to the practice. They are skilled, instructive and will get hands on with you. They apply their teaching to real life and the sport. I was hooked after the very first session and months in I’m still hooked. Don’t be fooled, you will get a run for your money as you push the edges but at the same time their philosophy allows you to train at any age or skill level. They do a phenomenal job with kids and are incredibly respectful of where you are in your journey. Come get some!

Awesome school with even better instructors. Matt is an awesome teacher, and the environment with other students is great. I have only been able to make one class so far due to work and other factors, but cannot wait to become apart of the team.

This place is amazing. The instructors are very open to questions and are willing to help out after class if something isn't sticking. Also the other students are amazing. Everyone takes care of everybody and you I haven't experienced any "mat bullies" yet in the several months I've been going.
