I completely tore my ACL last spring. Before any treatment started, the Barbell PT team took the time to understand my injury, my pre-injury fitness and activity level as well as my post surgical activity goals. From that point forward I received professional, customized one on one care and treatment both before and after surgery. I have yet to meet a more professional, competent or caring group of people and would recommend them to anyone dealing with acute or chronic mobility or strength issues.

I am an older (52 years old) runner that was looking for physical therapy to address a lingering hamstring injury that had impacted my training for roughly 2 years. I had never done physical therapy and was curious about what it entailed and hopeful that it would accelerate my recovery.Brett was great at helping me understand the science behind the exercises and my underlying challenges with flexibility, strength, and balance. The weekly sessions started with an open discussion on my activity and pain/discomfort, transitioned into massage/needle/table to focus on problematic areas (legs, hips, ankles), and finished with exercises he would record for continuing at home. As I progressed, the exercises transitioned into strength training. Throughout the entire process, Brett has been positive, energetic, understanding, realistic/grounded, and knowledgeable.I could not be happier with the results. The sessions have given me confidence, addressed my injury at a core level rather than a quick patch, given me knowledge and routines to help avoid future injury, and my running feels more natural. My goal was to recover while training for a marathon in September and Brett’s help was critical in reaching this goal.

Brett is amazing! He is so knowledgeable and willing to share his expertise. His holistic approach not only addressed my daughter’s immediate needs, but helped her build a foundation to reach her goals. He exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend!!

I've just finished my 7th session with Dr Brett Scott for a frozen shoulder and I've had fabulous results. I previously had 4 sessions somewhere else and made no progress. Currently I can move my shoulder really well and have no pain. I do the exercises that he prescribes every night and after each session he sends me a video link so I can do the exercises correctly. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience...would highly recommend him.

Dr. Brett is a professional strength coach and physical therapist that has kept my body moving correctly for over a year now. When a random strain/injury happens in the gym, I know I can make an appointment and get my questions answered, and the problem solved. He treats the injury with exceptional knowledge and teaches you how to move better to avoid injury next time. This guy isn't after your money... He is after your well-being. And it's very obvious. His patients leave feeling cared for. And he's very friendly! Thank you Brett for taking good care of all of us :)

Before starting with Brett, I knew I wanted to get stronger. I started training at the gym his office was in and we became buddies. He was nice enough to handle me at my first powerlifting meet, and I signed up with him after that with another meet on the schedule. My first meet was in Feb 2021. Brett made a customized program for me to peak for another meet in May 2021. I did what my coach told me to do, and I put 18kg on my meet total in three months. When I hurt my back, he tailored my program to get back to health and do what I could do, safely. After a little while, I changed my goals, so he changed my style of training to meet my goals. There’s something about having someone to support you through the trials and tribulations of health and fitness. if you’re on the fence, I highly suggest you take a chance to take your strength to the next level, or to reach whatever the goal is you want to reach. I have mad respect for this guy. On top of that, we have a lot of fun. Like a gym family only better. Thanks Dad!

Accidentally meeting Brett and starting my training and rehab with Barbell Therapy has definitely been one of the best things to happen to my health in the past year and a half. On the rehab side of things, he has worked wonders when it has come to pain management for my knee and overall health of my body. Training with Brett has helped me continue to play volleyball at a high level and it has also provided me with an amazing community that hold me accountable and it's super motivating!!
