Apex has made some small improvements su h as fans in the gyms that have truly made a big difference. Great facility and ran well. I was really impressed.

Someone's getting filthy rich off exploiting children's sporting events. There is a ton of money going into someone's million dollar mortgage while the facility suffers. Terrible maintenance, terrible courts, terrible parking. But, parents will do anything for their kids, which includes lowering their standards.

This place is disgusting. We have been playing basketball here, unfortunately, all summer, and every time we show up for the first game of the day we have to sweep our own court because there is trash and debris all over the place left over from the weekend before. It’s never clean, there’s sticky stuff spilled from the weekend before all around the sidelines and on the edges of the court, and I’m pretty sure they’ve never mopped or re-done their courts for basketball ever. It’s like playing on a court covered in sand it’s so slippery. I wish we had another event center here in Lubbock that actually took some pride in their business. We had to ask someone to pick up a dead mouse under the bleachers a few weeks ago because it smelled so bad. The mouse was surrounded by tons of food and trash. Why is it so hard to offer somewhere decent for the kids in our community to play sports?? I know there are teams that will travel to other communities to play than play here at Apex and that’s super sad. I would rather play out of town than give this place another dime.

The center is mediocre at best and God forbid you are there when it's rainy. The parking lot is a mud pit!

Place is setup fairly decent. Never had any issues with the staff. The referees for basketball have actually been amazing. The snacks are not well facilitated and expect lines all the time. The heat 🔥 gets crazy in there sometimes and the noise can be a bit loud. One fix would be to put some adhesive foam or any such thing on the walls to help.
