Workout Anytime Lynchburg

Gym is good. Staff is friendly and keeps the facility clean. Biggest issue is lack of equipment. They have just about everything you need however the only have 2 free barbell squat racks. Even more unfortunate is they are the deadlift pads as well so only 2 people can squat or deadlift at the same time. I would love to see it expand and more equipment added.

The gym is nice, and it seems the music has gotten better. Still bring your ear buds though.

I like the people who work there. The facility is clean. It's not usually too crowded, and the other patrons keep to themselves. I also signed up during a great promotion period, and the price is great.On the flip side, since joining earlier this year, multiple things have broken down, and it seems to take forever to fix them. They have 3 low impact treadmills, and only 1 has been functional since I joined. For months, one of the hydro beds was broken, and the lay down tanning bed door wouldn't stay shut unless you awkwardly held it (they finally fixed those). Then, the one massage chair they had broke down for weeks but is now operational. Lastly, the Styku 3D scan broke a few weeks ago, so I missed my monthly update, and they have no ETA on when it will get fixed.Overall, I am really impressed with the facility and have lost about 30 lbs so far, but I wish they could get things fixed faster when they break down.

I have enjoyed coming to workout here the staff is so nice and it’s just a great environment to workout in!

My 17 year old signed up online 2 days ago and thought he was getting a month to month membership but instead signed a annual contract. So far I have spoken to 5 individuals who can't correct this. To cancel he will be hit with a $99 fee along with losing what he paid to sign up. There should be a easy way to change a yearly membership to a monthly without all this. They have no GM and supposedly Scott (who I can't reach) is the only one who can fix this. I was told I could reach him this morning but he's on his way to Tennessee. I have left my name and number and I'm still waiting for a call. (Update... I was told the membership would be canceled and all fees reimbursed. I called again today 03-29-23 because we still haven't received the sign up fee. I was told the cancelation was pending. Edit 4-19-23 never saw reimbursement for 48.99 sign up fee. He never used this membership.

I want to love this gym but every time I come in it is insanely packed. There are no machines, or squat racks available and there’s a total of 3 benches to use. I have been going here for months and it is SO defeating when you finally get to come to the gym and then you can’t even workout.

Look. Let’s talk about the best gym in Lynchburg. Conveniently located, wether you get the basic or the premium membership you can’t beat the price and the value. Friendly staff and trainers! Great gym for individuals at all fitness levels.

I agree with the other reviewer regarding the gym being too crowded. This is not a large gym like the other local gyms in the area (Planet Fitness, Kinetix). The workout equipment is too close together and it can feel cluttered, especially when others are working out right next to you. Contrary to popular belief that COVID is over, I still would like to maintain some sort of personal space.My other concern is the cleanliness, or possible lack thereof. They seem to have ran out of sanitizing wipes and you never see staff cleaning (at least during the times that I go, can't speak for any other times).The only reason I have not left this gym yet is because they have heavier weights and I frequent another location when I'm traveling. I wish there were more gyms in Lynchburg to help with the overcrowding. I am glad that other people are working to improve their health, but it's also a pain in the neck when it's too many people in the gym.

The Lynchburg WOAT is the quintessential example of the Workout Anytime franchise. It has a clean gym, a very helpful staff and an excellent variety of equipment. This gym has clearly been invested in and will y shows. This place is packed with people looking to get their workout on. I had an enjoyable time visiting this gym and I recommend it to anyone looking for a gym in Lynchburg.
