Long overdue review since I have been at Hilltop since the beginning. I was intimidated, coming from a strictly cycling studio, to step out of my comfort zone and try something new (boxing) but it has really changed the way I train. The mix of strength, cardio and boxing/technique is great. You really don't have to know anything about boxing, because I didn't (and I still don't know that much 😜) As for instructors Bree, Jess and Mia have helped and watched me grow over the last 3 years. Jess challenges me every class; she will build specific strength stations to challenge me, and bring me heavier weights-she knows what I can do more than I do. Jess is an amazing teacher and she really encourages good form and will take the time to correct you, even in a busy class. Mia's strength class is so challenging and whole body focused. She is a super motivating instructor. Bree has been an amazing mentor and has given suggestions re: my knee injury when I just there messing around at open gym. Brees' bags class is also a do not miss. I leave there so exhausted- she has really helped me improve my boxing form and technique. Lastly, shout-out to my guy Tony whose class is SO hard-he kills it on the weekends at Hilltop. His classes are more technical focused and I am really learning so much. Definitely give EBF Hilltop a try, the rates are competitive to similar gyms and you get to bring a friend for free 2x a month 👍

An overdue review, but much needed. I first joined EBF when they opened during the pandemic, and they have only improved since then. There’s no doubt this place is amazing and it will get you were you need to be however I want to target this review to people coming into free classes to check it out. I encountered a couple in the past that just felt the intensity too early on and got scared. I’ll say this if you’re a gym rat and go by your pace, come to a class prepare for very piece of your body to-be worked out and you’ll definitely be feeling it. All the instructors are amazing in their own category I would suggest starting with either a BAGS class or a TRAIN as you get familiar with the technique and flow. When you see MITTS or a class ran by Tony just know he’s no joke. Of course you’re able to pick any class I just hate to see people come in, feel it too hard for the first time and just give up.

A great environment with coaches that really push you to challenge yourself. The staff is very friendly and the gym is well equipped. I typically do the Train series of classes which are intense circuit training routines that change every class.
