Can’t cancel membership online. They force you to come in person.We went in to cancel the membership in person today and the girl at the front desk told us to come back on Monday. Do your employees not know how to do basic administrative task?We told her we can’t come back because we no longer live in this area. She then proceeded to tell us we could “put a letter in one of the blue square things” (she meant the mailbox which I then deciphered for her inarticulate ignorant self). She was so nonchalant and just didn’t care about being of service.We told her to print off the cancellation form then. After we got the form I proceeded to ask her if she was giving us a stamp also, she said no we have to get that ourselves. So she can’t do the bare minimum customer service duties and everything has to go through the manager who is only there Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Although nick was very Helpful. There was a big mix up with my membership. Very disappointed in this club has nothing to do with nick. Pool has been broken five out of eight months. WHEN I call for an update, they never answer the phone. Luckily, Nick answered the phone. I feel this place has poor management.

Very clean gym and kept up with well. Love the setup , makes it comfortable to enjoy the workout while looking over the balcony. Smoothie bar in Saugus gym. Hotub and pool always working at Saugus. Love the aesthetic. Very happy to have a membership here.

There are two that I go to, Stoneham and Saugus. Stoneham gym is far superior to Saugus. Saugus locker room is filthy and they don't care. I have made many complaints. No reaction. Stoneham is cleaner. I go just to swim. Showers don't work often in Saugus on one side for the LONGEST TIME. NO ONE CARES. Pool in SToneham always closed for maintenance. Same with jacuzzi in both places. Lifetime is $300 or id be there. LA Fitness knows they are the only show in town. That seems to be the reason for their total indifference to complaints.

Bathrooms are always dirty, machines are outdated, equipment is either broken or missing, TVs are broken, and all those things have never been replaced since the gym opened back in the early 2000’s. They are collecting $40 - $50 a month from every member, why can’t they update those things?!?!? It’s not like they don’t have the money for it!They don’t even have the decency of reading or acknowledging any of their gym’s reviews!Also, the hours need to be change, Saturday and Sunday open at 8am and closes at 7pm… why?!?! Many people I know has gone to the gym at 5 or 6 in the morning thinking the gym was open and had to drive back because it was closed.P.S. all the pictures you see below from the reviews are 100% accurate!

Gross and disappointing. Lack of equipment, weird smell by the weights, members don’t replace their equipment or clean, mats are old and dirty.LA fitness used to be one of the nicer gyms, I’m not sure what happened to this one.

This gym has great potential but is lacking good management and maintenance.Machines out of service for weeks or almost about to brake, missing pieces, water fountains with mold or out of service, dirty bathrooms with no supply of paper or hand soap, dirty floors thru the gym with trash. Tvs that don't ever work but still have white screens on...Good location and good space, but need to keep up the maintenance and operations.

Good structure and great staff, I especially loved the psina and sauna. * A very negative point is the lack of common sense in the first payments... Initially, the first and last month is already paid (everything is fine) but the annuity must also be paid within the first month This is terrible! Correct would be 3 or six months after joining but not at the beginning... It seems to be desperate for money or if it is to force the client to stay, it is a lack of creativity on the part of the person in charge.

Management needs to be replaced. Front desk associates are always on they phone. Sauna is by far the worst I’ve ever been in , people go from working out to the sauna all sweaty and stinky and just take a look at the picture of how they take care of the bathrooms. Planet fitness does better and they’re a 10 dollar gym

While this place has some redeeming qualities: basketball court, pool, turf area, and classes, it’s incredibly disappointing that management doesn’t maintain it.This is a regular occurrence in the women’s bathroom… yup that is sewage!The staff are very kind, though there is minimal effort toward maintaining the weight floor (others have noted the lack of free weights being returned-which is also a daily issue). I would understand if it was only major price tag issues, but so much of the maintenance is small/dumb stuff that would require things like a screw in the drain or a battery in the clock, or having the 3-5 staff that are sitting at the desk go pick up and put the weights back where they belong. LA, please do better.
