I personally have been trained by Kru Marc Meltzer, and many others but I have never enjoyed nor have I even been paid attention to that well by anyone else! Best trainer I have ever had!!! He pays attention to techniques, endurance and combinations! I liked martial marts but he made me love martial arts, especially Muay Thai!!!! I can't think of a more credible and or knowledgeable Muay Thai coach on the North Shore. Marc is extremely dedicated and experienced at what he does with the a long history of training and coaching some of the best fighters in New England.

If you are looking to learn Muay Thai, then you will not be in the wrong hands if you visit and train under Kru Meltzer, at NSMTA. I can’t stress enough how much this trainer dedicated his time to the ones who want to learn. He’s a passionate instructor who knows the martial arts world. He has trained me in not only his specialty (Muay Thai) but he also has helped me prepare for fights in the MMA world, Bare Knuckle Boxing, and Boxing. Being under his guidance brought comfort to my fight game, but also trust and good chemistry in my corner. He’s there to help in ALL aspects of the sport, and I highly recommend a visit to him and NSMTA because I know you won’t be disappointed with it.

Marc Meltzer is a TOP TIER coach really expanded my thought process on what Muay Thai is as a sport and lifestyle. Would recommend for fighters looking to sharpen there tools for KB MT or MMA bouts but don’t let this review shy away novices or general fitness enthusiast from trying a Kru Marc class.

I have trained at North Shore Muay Thai Academy for years. Marc is a great instructor and he creates a challenging, fun, and safe training environment. If you train at NSMTA you will be stronger both physically and mentally. I’ll see you in the ring.

Awesome spot to train plenty of open space , boxing ring , and full weight room. The guys are amazing ,very friendly with a lot of experienced ,talented people to work with. The coach , Marc Meltzer , is very good at what he does. From people taking there first class to professional fighters he makes sure everybody is improving and learning as much as possible. Would definitely recommend this gym to anybody who is interested in getting into martial arts ,or is just looking for a new place to train.

North Shore Muay Thai , I would say one of the best in the area. Great location, the classes range from beginner to advance skill levels. Marc will guide you every step of the way, it’s a great work out and after one class your hooked coming back for more. Great group of guys if you’re looking for the real deal Muay Thai class this is it !
