Good luck getting out of contracts or making changes. Also annoying when you get pushed off the mats for classes that cost way too much. Defeats the purpose of calling it anytime...

Anytime fitness East Madison has changed my life! I had never been in a gym before or done anything athletic, but started in June 2018 at this gym. I had just retired and decided it was time to do something for myself. I absolutely love doing personal training with Jeff and Marco! They push me to do better each day. I’m a member for life!

Clean, well-lit, well-maintained, and with a terrific variety of machines. The guest wi-fi easily supports streaming video on your device. A good choice if you think gyms are intimidating -- the clientele tends toward professionals rather than meat-heads, and is unfailingly polite and respectful. Great staff, too.

If you need a gym this will do. I find that if you don’t spend $$$ with them they do not have much time for their members unless you bring your checkbook. I assume the trainers work on a commission base and it seems to reflect in their communication with everyday customers. The equipment is there and if you wanna get in shape they have the tools.

I highly recommend this location specifically! The employees are nice and the gym goers are polite. It's few and far between that anyone is disrespectful of the equipment and other peoples' personal space. When someone is, people seem generally comfortable with gently correcting the behavior to ensure everyone there is both comfortable and safe.I just recently cancelled my gym membership to try rock climbing for a time and the employee I dealt with was respectful of my decision. At no point was I given a hard sell or did anyone try to sway me from my decision. They updated their system and allowed me to go about my day without any grief, which speaks volumes to me as I've had extreme difficulty with this at other gym's/companies.
