For me, wall-to-wall mirrors can be little intimidating, but this cozy studio is warm and inviting. And I mean literally warm. From medium to hot temperatures, I always leave rejuvenated and glowing. The different class times offered make it easy to fit a class in throughout my week.

Practicing at Inner Fire has been beneficial to my mind, body, and mood. Despite being more of a beginner, the variety of classes has something to suit my energy on any given day. Hot yoga classes are my favorite to help me relax even further into poses than I can in my practice at home. Marit, the owner has reached out and taken a personal approach to ensure my happiness with IFY. Highly recommended!

The original Bikram studio in Madison, changed their name and location to Inner Fire a long time ago. What hasn't changed is the dedication that Marit and Dar have given to these three locations. The heat is on so bring your towel a mat, water and plan on getting a soulful cleansing along with stretching that isn't a contest. The staff is dedicated to helping you achieve mind and body peace and with instructors training they offer guided assistance in some classes. With multiple choices in Madison for "warm/hot" yoga, INNER FIRE is best in class and our top choice.

Being a first time in a studio this was the perfect experience for me. the welcoming behavior of the instructors, they were able to answer all my questions, to help me feel like i have been coming all my life. the workout was at a level to accommodate both the beginner and experienced. I felt refreshed and energized and having the extra facilities helped keep my day on track.

Hot yoga with Ann Morgan on Tuesday and Thursday nights is the best yoga classes I've tried. It's pretty hard work but feel great after. I'm pretty new to Yoga, started on a 30 day beginner pass but have signed up for the membership now. Thank you Inner Fire East and Ann.

I only started taking hot yoga classes about a month ago, and now I'm completely hooked thanks to Inner Fire -- their instructors are amazing. The east side location is pristine and beautiful, and the free heated garage parking makes driving here very convenient. I have yet to take a class I didn't enjoy but "power 60" is my go to and is wonderful.

Clean - warm - friendly - all levels appropriate -I was in Madison for just one evening, and wanted to pop in to a yoga class while in town. A friend who lives on a farm about 45 minutes away met me there so we could practice together before meeting to plan the yoga retreat we’re co-leading. (I say that to say that we are both regular yogis and teachers so we have a high standard for instructors and studios!)The studio was a warm and welcoming space! The class was very full, probably because of the nice affordable community drop in rate of $10 for that particular class, and/or because regulars know that Jane is a great teacher!I also loved that they offered a 4:30pm class on a Saturday- those late afternoon Saturday classes can be hard to find.Anyway, the 75 minute flow was awesome - Jane was a great instructor- encouraging and challenging both, offering modifications for any pose. My friend and I agreed that we loved the class. And I so loved the playlist that I wanted to ask her if she could share it with me afterwards. Because I took a while to shower and change after class, Jane had already left the studio and I was unable to ask her. When I replied to the after-class follow up text that I received as a newcomer, Marit, the studio owner, was kind enough to not only track down the playlist from Jane but even type it up and email it to me.Thank you, Inner Fire Yoga, for going above and beyond!Anyone who’s looking for a great studio in Madison to drop in or become a regular at, I highly recommend this studio!

I've had nothing but positive experiences with the instructors here, and there are a good variety of classes available. I'm so glad Inner Fire Yoga opened a location that's convenient for the east side. The free garage parking is also a plus.

Just attended my fifth class at Inner Fire East.I found myself smiling at everyone on the square as I walked to work. I feel amazing, and it's the best thing I've found for my lower back pain. The instructors, the music, and the location are just absolutely lovely. I especially look forward to having this warm hour in my day as the weather cools down. Thank you for coming to the neighborhood!

I started practicing at Inner Fire East after buying a Groupon deal for one month of unlimited classes. This is a wonderful community of kind and welcoming people who are eager to meet you wherever you are in your own journey and encourage you to stretch a little bit further and sweat a little bit harder. Unfortunately, I can't afford their regular membership prices, but I think it's great that they offer a few community classes at a discounted rate so that their yoga practice can be accessible to someone on a budget. Recently, I made the decision to wean off of a fairly addictive anti-depressant that I was prescribed when I was a teenager and have relied on through most of my 20s. Yoga has helped me be more aware of and adjust to the changes my body is going through and has served as an outlet for the anxieties of every day life that I am now facing medication-free. I would highly recommend this studio to anybody who is even curious about yoga and the impact it could have on their everyday life.
