The Zoo Health Club Goffstown

I love most of the equipment in this gym and its usually not too busy. But it's definitely a bit run down, doesnt have great ventilation/AC so it gets pretty hot in there. And theres also not even a full set of kettlebells? I think it should be a lot cheaper than the Derry Zoo but its not..

If you are looking for a quality gym, this is the place. Staff are amazing, helpful and super supportive. Gym members are a great combination of long-time, seasoned veterans and new comers. Very pleasant atmosphere with everything you need to be successful. There’s a lot to gain here, and I absolutely love going. Highly recommend paying them a visit to check it out!

Love the atmosphere. Working with Brittany in personal training sessions has turned my life around in such a positive way. The staff is amazing, intelligent and super helpful.

I enjoy The Zoo Goffstown. The people that work out here are serious about they do. Overall the equipment is good and the people are polite.

Great location great staff great equipment this place is head and shoulders above any other gym. Only way to get a better workout is to go down the street to a farm and start squatting livestock.

It's nice to be part of a gym that is ready to replace worn out equipment and the daycare is very good with kids.

The gym is good for what it offers. However, in the early morning hours the magnetic lock will randomly loose power and not open, the scanner will take several scans to register an unlock, or it won't even open altogether. This has been going on for over a year and a half and nothing has been done to fix it.A few other issues are highlighted in the prior comments, but the biggest frustration is the door.

I have been at the Zoo location since it was Gym USA 31 years ago and the Zoo Health Club is the best gym by far out of the previous 3 gyms. Staff is outstanding, gym is clean and the equipment is kept in good shape. Great place to workout!

This is a great gym for the location. The machines are older, but they work. Amber is an excellent front desk associate. She greets everyone and has a great attitude.

The Good: The equipment is good and they keep the place clean and organized for sure. Good variety of equipment to choose from includes ample basics and also lots of crossfit-type apparatus. All the bars are in really good condition. There is rarely a line waiting for a machine- maybe sometimes at prime time but that's fair. Locker rooms are always clean and ready to go. 24-hour access is really nice. It's a decent value because the equipment is solid. I pay just over $ 55 a month for a three-month membership, which is not great but I get that they have bills to pay. They have deals for new members that are pretty good, I got one when I joined. Sean and the young (high-school age) lady who works at the front are nice.The meh: It's not a social place, they play butt-rock so everyone brings their own music and nobody talks. The mustard yellow wall color was a poor choice, I feel like I am working out in a grave made of butter. If that's a brand standard, perhaps revisit that because there is lots of research on wall colors in exercise facilities. Staff at the front desk (not mentioned above) is always hostile. Several members have volunteered the same opinion to me outside of the gym. That person is becoming famous for misunderstanding the part of their job where they make members feel glad to be members. I have left three written notes since April 2022 about the broken clock on the wall and as of today it remains showing 4:00 all day. I acknowledge that this is a petty thing to comment on, but I challenge you to look at a broken clock approximately 500 times. Then leave a few notes about it. These things do not make me love my gym.My gut: I get my workout and move on. In the 36 years I have been lifting weights, I have been a member at lots of great gyms that I looked forward to showing up at 4 times a week. Honestly, I kinda dread going to the Zoo.
