Extremely dirty! I’ve been to multiple locations & this is the worst I’ve ever been too! How hard is it to clean the restroom & shower areas! Why have disinfectant with no dispenser for the paper everyone is touching the rolls!

Still not 24/7, wish they would keep the music down I can hear it thru my headphones especially when the song choices are not that great. Y'all also need your own fb page and please stop "dusting" machines right next to people that are working out.

I hate to have to be this person but this place isn't even busy! I'm in from out of town and the place is dead. I let then person infront know (who is on their phone) that the machines are sticky and gross. His response was " it's self serve I'll get to it when I can " while he then proceeded to text on his phone. So I went and asked again if he was really that busy and he said "if I say anything more it's not going to be nice." This is the worst customer service I've ever had at any planet fitness. I understand shortstaffed issues but rude issues? No. He said I can come back later and speak to the manager but I'll never come back to this dump again.

If I could rate this place I would rate it a zero. Horrible customer service with the staff members. I would not recommend at all. They change the 24/7 to only Monday -Thursday. That’s messed up when they have all these annoying teenagers taking up all The machines throughout the day. Best time to work was at night.

I wanted to show you guys some appreciation. Thank you for always making me feel welcome, I hated gyms but when I tried Planet Fitness, I loved it! Thanks to Chris for talking to me and making me feel like I’m part of the team. He is an amazing Trainer and person to talk to! Everyone actually sanitizes unlike other gyms!! People re-rack and everything is actually in order! Planet fitness is truly a Judgment Freezone. Nobody makes you feel uncomfortable and nobody stares at you in a weird way for doing a different workout. The team members always make sure everything is in place. Everyone is always cleaning and keeping the gym a safe environment especially with Covid guidelines. I’m sad I am no longer a member, but this gym will always be my go-to! Yes there is limited weights.. but I rather come to a gym that is clean and friendly rather than a larger gym with arrogant people. Thank you once again Planet Fitness!

I was about to kill myself no really I felt like I didn’t have the strength to do anything anymore I wasn’t a strong minded person. my sister dragged me to workout with her and once I stepped into this gym I felt safe it was an environment of growth and it was very welcoming and 4 months later I’m stronger mentally and physically. Best decision of my life was becoming a member of Planet fitness in McAllen it’s the best gym ever.

If y’all taking of getting a membership during summer don’t!!! It’s overly packed with teenagers because of the free promo. The teenagers go in groups so it’s making the people who actually pay the monthly payment uncomfortable by how crowed it gets. Thinking of canceling my membership because it making my gym experience 5-4 hours long just to use the mechanics I want to use. Don’t even bother signing up!! Waste of time. Also the teens are breaking all the mechanics smh that we adults have to pay fee of 42. Not worth it!!! Ps the gym is always dirty always paper on the ground the restroom overflowing with papers on the ground. Mid shift doesn’t ever do their job right!!

Had a really great experience in this gym compared to the one in pharr this gym is bigger and the machines are actually working and available it does not matter the time i go the machines are available. Also there is someone always in the front office to greet u when u check in i like that because in the one in pharr u can literally just walk in and no one will even know if u are a member or just walking in free. When u have someone greeting you u feel like retuning back and u have a great workout. They even thank you on ur way out. Love the space the availability and the kindness of the staff would definitely recommend this gym

I’ve been going to this gym for a few months now & I’ve never had any issues. Until a few days ago… I was using the 30 min work out area. When a older lady was using 3 machines & putting her cell phone & keys to hold the other two. Which myself & the other people were not happy about that. I don’t usually complain but I did. I voiced my concerns to Jen & right away she came over & politely talked with the lady & asked her nicely to make it fair to all the others to have a chance to use the machines. The lady agreed & moved her keys & cell phone. What great customer service & patience she had with the older lady. All the other people were happy she did it in a nice & professional manner. Ty Jen

I loved going to this gym at night when it was open 24/7 but they cut the short time on it. Everyday after work it was awesome coming to the gym at night when it was empty but I heavily disliked the idea that during the summer they let high schoolers and kids enter for free many of those children were being disruptive and take all the equipment and not use but just take selfies with them many people I know ended our membership due to that main reason amd will not be coming back anymore.
