First day back after Covid-19.Glad they have machines marked to keep social distancing and constant cleaning.Sanitary products all around, marked and kept stocked. Glad to be back.

I joined planet fitness just a couple weeks before the COVID shutdown. I have not benefitted from the membership for months (and I do acknowledge that I was not billed for part of the preceding few months). And now, as COVID is surging in Hidalgo county, I have been charge both the annual fee and a monthly fee this month. When I reached out to the location, I was told it was no problem if I leave a negative review and that I would have had to request membership cancellation before it was billed.I was also told that there are no managers available to discuss this issue. I just paid to join a short time ago, and now I am paying for a service that I am not receiving.

I like the variety of equipment. Some of the younger staff in the morning is unprofessional, and seems like they don't want to be there. Started going overnight, and the staff is very courteous, and helpful with any questions I may have.More equipment available at night too.

Great place to workout. Staff is very friendly and no judgement gone to other gyms and would always get rude remarks from both staff plus guest. Not here. Only reason I gave a 4 stars is because I noticed when I go some people don’t wipe down machines after they use it. Also one lady will always answer her phone while working out and talking so loud.

I love this gym! I got a membership on top of my golds gym membership... only issue is i wish it wasn’t middle of 23rd but still got a membership for when I’m in that area i can go by. Beautiful gym ;)

Absolutely amazing gym, just as you'd expect from planet fitness. Plus it's empty most of the time since it just opened. Great array of gym equipment & friendly staff. Glad they brought this franchise to mcallen! 💪👍 …

I work out here 6 days a week and it's my new favorite gym. There is a wide variety of equipment. It's all clean and kept working. The staff is friendly.

Is it mandatory that every member must sit on the equipment and text the whole time?? My normal 45 minute workout at every Planet Fitness location takes over an hour due to all of the members texting. Why can't you just go sit at a table up front if you're going to text??Response to message from owner:. So you want me to go to the desk and speak with the manager and tell on everyone who is playing in their phone while sitting on a machine? In that case I would stand at the desk all day/night. If that's what you expect of me at least put me on payroll. All the manager has to do is look at the circuit area and he/she will see everyone violating the cell phone policy. You have signs that say wipe down the equipment, so why not signs that say no cell phone use??

I can simply share my experience on here.. I took the initiative on trusting PF to at the least let me know the club was open ( all this time I was visiting the Weslaco location..from Mission) I was never informed at the least by a simple message or Facebook message so pretty much I paid for never being able to work out at the initial place I paid for. Never received a shirt a warm welcome nothing. Wasting gas etc. Highly expectations were a bit too much for this club speaking from a Gold Gym's member perspective. You quite frankly had no issues taking my $ but never took the initiative to speak to me to atleast say "hey your club is open " I get it your super busy I run businesses I get it. But, ultimately we know take care of who pays your bills.
