I have taken Tae Kwon Do from Mr. Bennett for several years now and I can honestly say he's one of the best teachers I've ever had, in any subject. Head instructor does an amazing job with all students. Specifically works well with my aspergers daughter in teaching discipline and self contol. The two classes per week with one being semi private and the other a larger group setting is a well balanced mix of interaction for self defense and forms training.

Hi Yah Taekwondo is the best martial arts school in Southern Oregon hands down. Mr Bennett and his teachers are fantastic. They make learning Taekwondo fun while instilling discipline and self worth into every lesson. Mr Bennett strives to make a meaningful connection with every student. They do not rush through the training like some other schools might. The teachers want to make sure the students have a good understanding of a movement or technique before moving on.Hi Yah has more than once won awards for Most Courteous School at tournaments. Hi Yah is a wonderful place for kids to be introduced to martial arts! Mr. Bennet flawlessly mixes fun and discipline! Kids not only stay interested, but are motivated to work to be their best selves! The facility is clean and well kept, and the fee is a reasonable, no contract deal. My daughter had a fabulous experience here, and when the sport season is over we will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend Mr Bennet and his studio!
