The most rude staff I have ever met! They don’t hold to the membership agreement you sign. I was never told I couldn’t downgrade my membership in the first 90 days and it does not state that ANYWHERE! They charged me $20 (plus tax) for the downgrade and THEN told me I wasn’t allowed to downgrade! The assistant manager, Marco, is a complete A$$ and doesn’t know how to do his job or how to speak to people. I would NEVER recommend this gym to anyone. In the agreement it clearly states you can cancel via email but when I tried they told me I had to come in or mail a certified letter to their back office. I paid over $8 to send a certified letter to their back office only for it to be returned because they gave me an invalid mailing address!! And won’t respond to me and give me an accurate address!! Now I understand why their BBB rating is D+!!

I have worked out @South Beach Gym A1A IHB & at JustMove Winter Haven… Then shoulder surgery, Covid and a few detours, but I have finally found a gym again… CRUNCH! The gym is clean! The people are friendly! Loving all of the classes! The membership prices are incredible! I have lost 108 lbs and now want to lose my last 50 and get to my goal! LOVE THIS GYM!

Quit this gym almost a year ago. Continued to get billed. Won’t refund, and had to close my bank account of 21 years because they wouldn’t stop. Do not give this company your debit card or account number. I’ve gotten fraud department and legal involved at this point and they keep harassing me.

I want to start by saying the facilities and equipment both at this location and the 192 location are very nice. However, the disappointment and difficulty I’ve faced for wanting to cancel my membership has been astronomical and definitely steers me away from ever wanting to associate with crunch in the future. I went in over 6 months ago to cancel and was told b/c of the membership type I had it would need a manager and they weren’t in that day but would call me back - okay nbd…I was NEVER contacted and they kept charging me. So I did the only thing I felt I could and canceled my card they had on file…they still kept adding up my “bill” until I get a call a month or so ago stating I owe x amount and they can get it resolved for half that and get me signed back up on the same membership. I immediately called back and told them I came in to cancel months ago b/c I’m not using the membership and it’s a waste of money for me at that point. They have NO documentation of me requesting a cancellation per the manager I spoke with. But he’s very kind and says he understands and he’ll speak to his manager to get it resolved…2 weeks later I’ve heard NOTHING but get a call from a collections agency saying it’s in regards to my account at crunch fitness (which I requested cancellation of 6 months prior) so again I call back and ask to speak to the same manager - I’m in “luck” cuz his manager is there and I can talk to him and explain the situation, so I do…I receive the same false assurances and promises they understand and they’ll get it resolved for me. They want me to have the same positive experience leaving crunch as I did joining crunch, he even gives me his number so I can keep in contact and make sure things are resolved. Cut to a week later, I’ve heard NOTHING yet again and am getting more calls from the same collections agency…so I message the managers manager he reads it (has his read receipts on so I can see he’s read it) and never responds….I message again just asking for an update and get told he’s passed it on to his manager and he’s so sorry his manager hasn’t contacted me but should shortly…that was last week and here I sit waiting for a response still. I’ve worked for half a dozen corporate franchises and NEVER had it be so difficult for someone no longer wanting to be a member to cancel their membership. The kicker to all of this is they have over $1000 of my money in prepaid personal training sessions I will never use b/c they wrongfully fired my favorite trainer and none of their other trainers could compete with him and it’s their policy to not refund personal training session money - I asked when I canceled my personal training sessions after they fired my trainer. Truly sad. At this point leaving this review and seeking legal guidance are the only options I feel I have left…

Going to the gym 3 times per week. I have a herniated L3 and rotator problem with n my left shoulder. Working with my personal trainer, Melanie. She is working around my affected areas, while maintaining the results I am looking for. Eddie was also a great help in recommending Melanie to get my results. Gym equipment is always wiped down by staff and members. I’m 63 and I am able to get on most equipment when needed.

The greatest gym in the area with good pricing and new equipment, but it could use another bench since they seem to always be full
