The facility and equipment are nice and well-maintained. Staff is pretty friendly. Not too crowded. The main reason that drew me there a year ago was the availability of a steam room which was "two weeks away from being finished" when I took out my membership in Spring 2022. Alas, into 2023 and it is still unfinished. They should really not be advertising this on the YMCA website nor be selling it to new members that arrive. Somebody from corporate should be really onto them to develop the facility or at least verify that what's advertised on their page matches the actual facility.

Just wanted to let everyone know this Gym is super clean! Amazing machines! Steam room always clean! The staff members are amazing! Alex the gentleman who signed me up, is super professional!!!!! And operates the gym as his! I watch the staff at the desk out back weight wipe machines love this gym!

I used the gym for one month that I was in miami in sept. They have now billed me for Oct, Nov and Dec. Unbelievable. I specifically said I'm in miami for one month, I only need for one month and now they keep billing me. Unreal!

First, the facility is clean and well maintained. Definitely the best deal in town! The instructors are phenomenal and really motivate me (and others) to attend their classes. Eduardo and Francisco are the absolute best! Energetic, fun, and spirited! Please schedule more classes with them teaching and spread the word! I’m convinced more members would attend if they knew how great these instructors are! While attending the gym, I met a group of people (who do this outside of the YMCA) who invited me to a run club. What better way to end a workout with a run around beautiful Miami! Great group of people who work and work out at the facility! I truly recommend it to Miamians who live and/or work in downtown Miami!! Management really knows how to set the standard!

Good location and fair monthly fee. It could use more equipment but not much space left. Needs some general maintenance in the locker rooms as well.

The instructors at the Downtown Miami Y are top notch. What a gift to have access to these incredibly talented instructors at the neighborhood Y, I never would have imagined. Also what I love, every time I attend a class I feel like they are truly happy that I'm there, and it is very inspiring to continue to work out.

Robert and Eduardo are fantastic trainers. Whenever I have a question on different exercises, they'll spend time with me to provide helpful feedback. Both are extremely knowledgeable and nice to communicate with.
