Sweeney's Gym

Sweeney’s is the perfect gym for you! I’ve been a member for over a year now and can’t see myself anywhere else. It has everything you need from fixed to free weights as well as group classes and personalized 1-1 training. It’s also pretty inexpensive for a 24/7 gym! Definitely worth a visit/membership!

I was told this gym was $19.99 when I called and the owner said no BS contracts. Then, I went to tour the gym where a female staff told me it was $24.99 with a 6 month commitment. I was taken back, but it was still a good deal for a 24/7 gym. I joined and they gave me a key. I worked out there twice and it was hot/humid in there. There were nasty notes by the owner that I must not have noticed when I took the tour. I usually got stuck with a treadmill that didn’t do an incline because it was broke. I found it depressing to go there, so I stopped going and had to pay out the 6 months. As soon as the 6 months was over, I canceled. It’s too bad because that gym is close to me. However, I didn’t enjoy my experience with them.

I've gone here on and off for a few years, I love it. Yes it's a small gym but I love that! It's not overwhelming has everything you need to feel and look your best. Sweeny and his wife are great!! The customers are also nice. I've never felt uncomfortable. It's convenient/ affordable/ and I love using the pool with my family:)

I joined here after being an xperience and planet fitness member. I was excited for the small environment that's not so overwhelming. However the machines are extremely old and as I don't know much about free weights, I felt extremely limited.

Why is it 4.8 if everyone's given it 5 stars. Best locally owned gym you'll ever find. Owner is there all the time working out and helping people. Pretty much well rounded all the way around. Sometimes you'll catch someone famous working out there. He trains celebrities too, maybe you could become the next.
