The equipment and staff are honestly ok. You get what you pay for and everyone knows Planet Fitness is the McDonald's of "gyms." However the clients who come here make this place a s**thole. Weights are not racked and are often missing. You have a guy making a tik tok video with various dumbells all around. Then you have no benches available because they are used to hold keys and bottles of high school kids hanging around the smith machines. This is just a hangout spot for people to use the free wifi and hog equipment. The other Modesto location is better

My first time at a gym by myself! I made lemons out of lemonade and figured on an impulse that I might as well get the membership with aaaaall the perks!Aside from being overzealous for my first time back at the gym in years, I have ZERO REGRETS!The staff was friendly and helpful answering any questions I had, everything was CLEAN!If you are interested in a lock to keep your items safe in the locker, you may being your own OR...If you made a last minute decision to get a gym membership they also sell combination locks at the reception desk!

I love coming here I was skeptical at first then my wife dragged me in here and I fell in love with it. I was embarrassed to work out but it's actually fun and you feel good at the end. They have showers for when your done and lockers to store your belongings. Everyone wipes down the equipment when your done so it's real sanitary. I really enjoyed the therapeutic water massage 💦😁 we signed up for the year membership it's a great value if you want to pursue a long routine workout schedule. 👍

The Planet Fitness employees are very nice, they always greet & farewell you when someone come in & leaves. They keep it exceptionally clean & stocked up with antibacterial spray and paper towels. It gets pretty packed after 2 p.m. the earlier you come the better. I wouldn't use the water fountain, it's unfiltered tap water.

This location is quite spacious. It has plenty of machines in good working order. The staff are courteous and helpful. Definitely a better location compared to the other Modesto location. The gym is open 24hrs. There's plenty of parking on the north and south side.

I finally stopped procrastinating and started going back to the gym. Planet Fitness is clean and well organized. The staff are friendly and energetic. I appreciate that the app will let you know the peak times so you can plan your workouts. The fees are reasonable and I definitely recommend Planet Fitness to anyone who may be considering a gym membership right now.

For the price and what You get, even the upgrade is worth it. And for daily/weekly visitors, I recommend it. There is a small shop by front desk for snacks and things with a seating/rest area. Handicap accessibility. Water stations. A wide variety of equipment that the staff help keep clean, too. I really like that the women's bathroom/showers are mostly kept clean, sorry if the same cannot be said for the men's. (There isn't changing stalls in men's but there is in women's). Plenty of lockers. Ample parking in front and back. Depending on time of day, there is security patrolling the premises. Also, shared parking lot with many businesses and a local bar- beware if parked too far, too late at night! (there has been drunk people doing donuts and hit/run vehicles). Be considerate of others and Your surroundings. Make sure to stay hydrated! Have fun!

Broken machines, bad song playlist, monkey bars got installed upside down lol. The girls pretend its a strip club save your dollar bills.

Manager junior very unprofessional and rude.invaded my privacy was on Snapchat tryna call a friend and he accused me of tryna take a picture and said I can’t use Snapchat told him I was just tryna call a friend

I like this gym better than other gyms i was just wondering why u guys are going to reopen and why can u guys have it open just have ppl wear a mask and clean like what u guys been doing. Am going nuts just being at my house not doing nothing pls reopen
