Nice to see Planet Fitness land in LaVergne. 40% of members are first-time gym users. Suspect many enjoy the judgment-free zone. I ventured inside and asked the front desk about membership packages. They mentioned a $39 a year annual fee for either plan, that I had not read about or seen in the advertisements I have seen. They have two plans. One is no commitment and $10 a month and you can cancel anytime without any additional fees. You get access to Unlimited Access to Home Club, Free Fitness Training, and Free Wifi at participating locations. workout equipment and can cancel anytime you wish. The other plan is $21.99 a month and gives you a PF Black Card, which provides you access to all of the other plan features, plus: Reciprocal Use of All Planet Fitness® Locations, Unlimited Guest Privileges at All Planet Fitness® Locations, Use of Tanning, Unlimited Use of Hydromassage, Unlimited Use of Massage Chairs, Unlimited Total Body Enhancement, 1/2 Prices Cooler Drinks (Restrictions may apply), and 20% off Reebok Products. There is a fee of around $58 to cancel your PF Balck Card membership before a 12-month commitment if you decide to quit. I did not decide to start going, yet. I did like the broad array of equipment to use and the perks with the PF Black Card sure do sound and look good too. Just not sure I want to commit to the costs at this time. Will see.

The gentleman that works the nightshift is very lazy.. He does not do his job the paper towels around the gym geya empty and instead of him replacing them he just puts the new roll in front of the dispenser. Also you can tell he doesnt properly clean the mens restroom very well either.. And he doesnt lnow a thing about working out or fitness...

Gym is close to my home and since is brand new is nice and clean.I workout early early morning and the front desk receptionist is not friendly at all, also there is not a scale to keep your weight progression.

BlackCardMember: I usually go very early in the morning. Machines available to work any muscle group and cardio. Place is always clean, staff coming and going are friendly and always offer any assistance needed. The one negative thing I can say is that the shower curtains are not wide enough for the showers. Either way you pull them, there is a few inch gapfront or back.Overall very happy that I joined.

Nice and clean!! Workers are very attentive and nice. If I had to make one request it would be add a decline chest machine and a stand up calf machine. Other than that great job!

Very nice gym. But for me and many of the members is totally unacceptable that this gym can not provide an scale to measure our weight lost progress. It is ridiculous because they are forcing my self to go to another gym to check my progress. The managment says that they do not understand why is this decision made when so many people are complaining about the same thing.

While the facility is clean and new and the staff is friendly, they're too focused on rules and regulations and less on relationships. Requiring a form of ID (which she didn't have on her!) so my wife can use the ladies room seems a bit much.To quote Annie: "When you gotta go, you gotta go!"I'd highly recommend finding a different PF location.

This being one of the newer PF locations in the area it is always a nice location to visit. It is typically clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I wish the treadmills were a bit more savvy (could incline and decline). But overall it's a great location

The gym is clean and the equipment is always kept in great shape. The staff are nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The locker room is very clean, which is a huge plus! This is my favorite place to go, especially since it is 24 hours. And the hydro chairs are a nice way to work out tired muscles from a long workout.I have only a few minor complaints, like the people that clog up the 30 minute work out area because they're on their phones, or random people that just sit and park on a piece of equipment, also on their phones, but the staff does their best to run those people off of the equipment as they see them. And the people hanging out in the locker room is a bit annoying when you're trying to get undressed for a shower, but I'm not too sure the staff can do anything about that.all in all, this is a great place to work out at.

The gym is always clean, the staff always friendly, and the machines always in working order. The only issue I have is the lack of supervision on the Express workout zone. There have been plenty of times people have camped on the machines while others are trying to complete the circuit, despite the sign about the 30 minute express area and it being closely monitored by staff. Usually, I’ll skip that machine until the person moves if they end up loving. Other than that, I love this gym and am thoroughly enjoying my membership!
