I have 3 gym memberships now 2 eos ufc and powerhouse. I have been a member twice at powerhouse. The new facility doesn't have as good of a set up as when they were by Walmart on hot springs. They will charge you fees and talk to someone in India to cancel your membership. It's not alot it's just the point that they don't act like a well run gym.Join eos and ufc and if you can afford it get a trainer and go to self made.

I enjoy this gym because of the variety of machines and weights they have including the boxing go area. Unfortunately some of the staff at the front desk just seem so unhappy. If only they had happier employees they would have more business coming in.

My biggest complaint is the customer service. It looks like employees hate working there. No friedliness. Very depressing mood. Something else that really bothered me is that was a member but wanted my husband to try it out for one week...to see if he liked it also. The only option they gave me was to sign him up for an entire month on reoccuring payments. I would then have to cancel his membership. You can imagine the process to cancel, just read other reviews. What the heck? You can't allow me to pay for a one week pass? Are free week passes no longer a thing? This is NOT good business culture. In the end, I decided to not only cancel my hubby's membership but mine as well. I now go to another gym. I hope this gym realizes that good old-fashion customer service never goes out of style and patrons WILL NOTICE.

The new powerhouse location is nice, they have a mixture of old and new machines but they get the job done. Definitely worth the price u pay for. They have single use infrared saunas and hydromassage chairs.

I went to powerhouse in April while in town for two weeks for military related training. A group of us paid for a single months membership. At no point did powerhouse communicate the group of us had signed up for a recurring monthly membership, even with the common understanding that we were only in town for two weeks. Powerhouse began billing our entire group recurring monthly membership fees this month and offered no form of reimbursement. Seems like a pretty bogus way to scam anyone looking to use a gym while traveling for two weeks.

I’ve been paying cash for my membership for 4 or 5 months. when I went to pay my membership in cash like I have been doing Kevin the manager says “we only accept card” I explain I don’t have enough on my card I’m paying cash. After awkward silence I start walking to the equipment to begin my workout he just says “you can’t workout”. What kind of customer service is that! I can’t just pay the next day? I was just about to pay in cash like I have been doing. This gym treats you like a walking wallet. Also the manger kevin told me I would pay month to month after my one year contract was over. I called their customer care abc fitness to cancel my membership because apparently you can sign up at the gym but not cancel there. I find out I have a contract until may 31, so now I have to pay 90 dollars to be rid of this shady gym. The equipment is old and worn out with poor ventilation, I wouldn’t waste my time or money with this gym.

I joined powerhouse at the Murrieta facility back in January 2020, I signed up for their Personal training program. I’m currently being trained by Chantal aka Channy. I have nothing but great stuff to say about her. Chantal is an incredible trainer and I just love the energy she brings to the gym. I’ve had trainers in the past and the difference with Chantal is that she is right there with you the entire hour. She isn’t focused on what’s going on around the gym, she watches your form and adjust any mistakes you might be making. I can honestly say she loves what she does. Chantal is encouraging, motivational, inspiring, very well educated in her field, and full of happiness. Oh and expect a smile from her every time you meet with her. The program could be a little bit less expensive but, worth paying the money when you get trained by someone as great as Chantal!!!!! I hope this inspires to find her at the Murrieta location won’t be disappointed.

Horrible customer support. Went to the gym for 2 months and signed up for a one time payment of $150. Nobody told me anything about the gym moving to a new location. After a month of going there were signs indicating that they were moving but when asking they said that they are only opening a new one and this gym will stay. Contacted the company and they said that they wont refund anything. No one knows what they're talking about. The gym's equipment is dated and some of the barbells weight 20 to 30 lbs with no stickers which can be a pain to figure to get the 45er. The lockers wrist band locks are broken and the gym refuses to fix them. Water is expensive, anything that seems good is either broken, closed, or old to the point thats unusable. Definitely wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone especially thoose who are starting out because its a headache. Lots of Gimics and extra charges.

PLEASE BEWARE!!! I loved this gym even left a great review before, but when you get charged a 100 dollars for training and told it was there mistake. And never receive the Money back in your account there's a big problem. And from what I was told, I wasn't the only one. It's kind of scary knowing they can take money randomly and never pay it back.

Haven’t even worked out there yet and I can tell you this is the place to be. I worked with Brianna to sign up for my month to month. She was freaking excellent, easy to talk to, and super informative. Gym is really clean and organized. So excited to begin!
