It helps me learn to defend myself and my family and when there is a situation involving a dangerous situation and scaring a women I know to call the sensei's for back up and for more protection for the women, and my family because I do karate every day and night since I first started and I made a promise to protect my family and friends from danger and harm.

I don't believe this is a good place to learn. Receptionist Tati is horrible and instructors only care about those who paid for class. Came for an introductory class as they promised and stood up for 30 minutes without any explanation or excuse. Don't even bother to give it a try.

Under new management- The new people running this place have taken Pro-Am in a whole new direction and it couldn't be better. My son has grownin ALL areas more in the last couple of months with the new guys than he did the whole year before. I would highly recommend this gym.

We signed up for the trial membership with Jesse on August 30th for my son who is in a wheelchair. Jesse told me about the contract to which I told him we would not sign a contract that would have an early termination. I asked him how we would cancel and he said we would have to give 30 days notice. So AT THAT TIME, I told him that we were giving our 30 day notice to cancel because with my son being in a wheelchair, we would have to see how karate lessons would work out for him. Made notes on the contract, I did NOT sign, the line for ETF and he initialed it. We made it to two lessons and decided it was not ideal for him. I was charged anyway on September 30th. I went in and spoke with Danielle, Jesse's wife, and explained the situation and she said she couldn't do anything even though I press that she was married to the owner. I made it very clear why we were not continuing and at a bar minimum I was AGAIN giving notice to cancel. She had me write my name and number because she had to pass it on to someone else in charge of the merchant account and the charges. I never heard back from them. I was charged once again on October 29th. I have called and left messages, but I am absolutely dumbfounded that I was charged again. I am a reasonable person. I thought I was clear on what I expected, particularly with my son being in a wheelchair. I am not disparaging the training, the environment or even the contract because I understood what it was and made clear what we wanted and felt that Jesse made the appropriate accommodations. I am hoping this is a situation that feel through the cracks and something they would want to correct.

Lots of classes to choose from, but like a buffet..if there is a lot to choose from...the food is not always that good.
