This is my favorite YMCA in the area. Huge facility, lots of machines, friendly staff. I miss their amenities shut down due to COVID, hopefully they will have them open soon. With COVID they have it set up nicely distanced along with giving you cleaning supplies upon entry. Highly recommend.

I love this facility and the staff is amazing. Only complaint is the one of the spin instructors plays the most obscene music/lyrics during sessions (MF this/MF that, suck me til I'm dry - really?) - incredibly bizarre given the YMCA affiliation. When confronted, the instructor told us 1) in eight years of spin coaching she'd never had a complaint (said another way - it was our issue), 2) she doesn't listen to lyrics to song, selects based on rhythm and beat and 3) everyone knows where babies come from, get over it. Others have complained, so hoping they can clean it up.

I love how organized and clean the building is! And it's very spacious too. The equipment is fantastic (I especially love the fans on the treadmills) and, although I'm new to the Y and haven't taken a group class yet, the variety is impressive. My favorite part of the Green Hills Y is definitely the staff, especially Patrick who gave me my initial tour and always remembers my name when he sees me! Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful, and constantly cleaning. I feel very comfortable at the Green Hills Y.

I joined the Y in March 2019 I suspended my membership from the end of June 2019 through September. When I suspended, there was no discussion of anything other than the suspension and reactivation date. When I reactivated my membership, I was told I couldn’t get the referral discount because I suspended my membership.I gave all the Y all the requested information, and was told that everything was resolved. I thought it was resolved until 1/24/20 when I was informed that I wasn’t getting the discount due to the lack of a referral. I was completely misinformed when I suspended the membership . I’ve cancelled my membership due to the complete lack of competence on the part of the administration of the YMCA

In addition to a great gym, the staff are extremely kind, personal, and professional. It feels like a community (both on a daily basis, and in times where the community comes together like holidays, major events and unfortunate circumstances).

Really love this Y. The staff are friendly and capable and the facility is always clean. The location right in Green Hills is awesome as well. I’ve moved a lot and been members at many gyms. This is my favorite.

In all honesty, the place was cleaner and more neatly attired than some highway hotels I've stayed in. I will say, I am normally visiting the Maryland Farms location and the staff that scans you in is over the top friendly. When I visited your location, some friends and I had just finished a 30 mile bike ride. I stopped in to take a shower and change into a suit for work. The greeting team member never actually said hello or offered a greeting. I presented my card and she scanned it, still without a greeting. I asked "can you tell me where your showers are?" She literally paused as though she was confused by my question. She then corrected my verbiage and answered "oh, the adult mens locker room,... is up the stairs all the way back and to the right "It just reminded me of the snooty look and correction you sometimes get in the wrong Starbucks in Manhattan if you ask for a "small" rather than a tall, just without the eyeroll! Ha.Overall I was honestly impressed by the facility and how the showers were equipped. Since I'm going on and on...as a first time visitor I did find the directional signage hard to notice or just missing all together. To sum it all up and after all of those comments, if I gave you a letter grade it would still be an A- , so great job and keep it up!Thanks

Green Hills Y is a great place to go workout. The staff are always so friendly, including the cleaning staff. The guests are always polite and seem to know the rules of the weight rooms and other areas. Always a good experience

Had a great spin class this morning! Saturday morning classes with Lauren and Jessica rock! Overall, each spin instructor here brings something special into their classes, you just have to find what music and style of teaching fits you better. Green Hills Y has a great variety of spin classes. Mix them up if you feel like motivation is dwindling.

This Y is so huge and so convenient. I'm so thrilled with the number and variety of classes they have. Their upstairs wellness room has so many machines and I sometimes walk on a treadmill when the weather isn't great, and even at 5 pm, I hardly ever have to wait. I love that you can park in back on the upper level and once inside you are already at the treadmills.
