They close way too early gyms are meant to be open at night because some people have work or got stuff to do in the morning and afternoon at least make the gym close at 12 closing at 9 is unacceptable

Friendly staff, great facility for families with kids, and a kind of sense of community among members there. The pool is perfect for swimming with younger kids.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful here. The gym is nice and so is the pool, though it is on the smaller side. Never too crowded.

Love the place. Lots of space to park. Not too busy. Clean and multifunctional facility. Huge weight room. Full basketball court.

I love it here, close to home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is they most definitely should enforce not walking around the locker room naked. Very disturbing, especially when there's so much room in showers to at least dry off, wrap up and at least put on underwear before leaving shower area. I'm trying my best not to complain and be that type of person, but I'm most definitely about to be that guy. It's unacceptable. But this is not on the behalf of the ymca this is the inconsiderate people that attend. Other than that.. 5 🌟 facility

Love the Northwest YMCA. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They always keeping the facility and machines clean. Constantly wiping down everything and that makes me very happy. Now Margaret Maddox YMCA is disgusting staff is always standing around not cleaning or maintaining the facilityThey really need to be on top of the due to the viruses and the amount of people that are in and out of the facility.

This YMCA has one of the nicest playgrounds that I have seen. There is so much to do and for all ages too! They seem to have a splash pad as well but it wasn’t on when we visited, so we will have to come again.

Not the best experience there so far which is discouraging. We have only been members here for 3 days. Came there with my boys to play basketball and they had exactly 2 balls in the gym, when 2 days prior they had a gym filled with them. Management refused to give us one and when I came back for the third time to demand a ball they gave me this ball (photo below) and didn't even apologize, saying you should bring your own ball to the facility. Not sure if that is the norm for how they treat their members but sour taste is left after this. I have never been to a Y that doesn't provide basketballs when they spend 5 million dollars on a playground. Really unfortunate because it's a really nice facility.

I have always loved the communal culture at the NW Y. Members are more like family and the staff always make me feel welcome. I'm proud to share that NW is my home Y even though I live on the south side of town. The staff especially made my sister and me feel more comfortable about reactivating our membership at the start of 2021. We were still cautious about returning during the pandemic and the center staff and protocols made us feel better about our decision to return and re-engage in group fitness classes especially. I have seen so many positive enhancements to the center's staff, interior and programming, and look forward to seeing the end result of the current construction project, which is sure to benefit the community in numerous ways. Thank you YMCA leadership for investing in NW and keeping it open and thriving!
