For a gym I don't have to pay to use, it is adequate to meet almost all muscle group needs. Langley is better equipped but is usually more busy. Anderson is the main gym, has full basketball court, large cardio room, decent weight room, and saunas in both locker rooms.Pool schedule is terrible but other than that it's not planet fitness 🤣

Love this gym! No frills, many classes, timing isn't designed for those of us not Active Duty or employed on the base. All good though. The staff keeps the equipment and locker rooms neat. The smaller weight room upstairs is finally opened w o regard to the interior temperature.

Excellent facility! Track, indoor aerobics, b-ball, resistance training, total fitness, activities, and more.Onsite showers, restrooms, and active sanitation available for authorized users. Best of all it is included with the exclusive membership except for some of extra activities.Join today!

It's a pretty decent gym with an above average cardio center, but what kind of gym is 0830-1630 on the weekends? I have never seen a military gym open less than 12 hours every day for a good reason

I got my second covid shot here obviously this is a gym recreational center but I'm leaving my review cause I visit the facilities and I always have something to say. The nurses and staff where very friends ly they had us and the members that were coming for the gym and covid short on separate entrances by fences I think that's really good safety and cleanness was very appropriate the wairbwas absolutely 💯 fast. And professionals from the entence to the exit . Very good gob.

It's obvious that this is not the main gym for the base. That said, as far as secondary gyms go, Anderson Field House is pretty nice. My wife has been looking for a place to swim and they have a pool and allow dependents in (something that's not so common with COVID), so that meets that need. The locker room is one of the nicest DoD locker rooms I have seen. While that's a pretty low bar, it's still nice to know that there isn't mold all over the place. Now wild life roaming around the showers either (though the frogs at Barksdale helped decrease the mosquitoes at the Iron Airman Gym). While I have had limited interaction with the staff, all the interactions have been pleasant.Only downside is the limited equipment for abdominal workouts. Would like to see more of that.

So this is where they are doing mass covid-19 vaccines. The front entrance is very clearly marked to go to the covid side or the exercise side. My experience is strictly for the covid vaccinations. When you walk in, immediately on entering wait for someone to greet you. They will escort you to where you need to sit and fill out paperwork. They do this in groups of 5 people. When you finish your paperwork someone will check it into a computer. It's on wheels, you don't have to get up they bring it to you. Then another nurse will verify your paperwork. If you have health concerns or are high risk for anything they will walk you to a PA to talk them before anything happens. They you wait for your row to be called. The downside, no privacy. You sit in the middle of the gym roll up your sleeve and they go down the line. Then each row waits their 15 min. Every 5 min they ask for a thumbs up to make sure everyone is ok. Not a bad process for a smaller clinic. If you have severe special needs you still have to be seen here bc these are the ones trained in how to mix the vaccine and it can't be done by the regular providers, that said your let then know what your needs are and these folks will do their absolute best to accommodate them. They also just started the Pfizer vaccine so 16 and over can get theirs now you just have to have a parent come and fill out the papers. You can also snap a selfie and get a sticker when you're done. Hope this helps! And sorry for typos on a mobile!

Get the staff a coffee pot for the morning shift. Nice gym with plenty of equipment. Great place for gains or loss ambitions. I would recommend different facility for Cross fit, nothing worst to look at than a wooded surface for basketball just to be taken up some of the footprint for an eye sore in the corner.

First and foremost if you want to workout.l you want let the smell of sweat deter you or a small weight room. Been in there during the busiest times and if someone is using a equipment I find another workout till they are done. These people reviewing seem to forget where they are at. This gym is amazing for the size of the post.I come from Drum and McGrath is a amazing gym.. for the size of the post and just all around.

Decent gym but they are suppose to open at 0500 on weekdays. I arrived at 0515 and they were still not open. It's 0540 right now and there are plenty of people in the parking lot waiting. The morning time is the only time I can workout due to my schedule. The staff need to get it together. #annoyedUpdate! 0549 Apparently it's a "training holiday?" They should really work on getting the word out. At the very least a sign. One of the lady's had to find out from the pool guy and get a sign from him to post since he couldn't leave the pool area. Glad a patron was there to save the day. I don't have to be to work until 0730. What should I do until then?
