Clean, well maintained, staff always available for questions or help. I'm not a swimmer, but do like to water walk. Always a lane available to do this wonderful exercise. .The therapy pool, needs more time slots available to crowded..

Fantastic selection of activities tailored for kids. Our children picked up foundational swimming skills at the Y, thanks to the warm and professional instructors. After relocating to a different city, my kids often reminisced and inquired about returning to their swimming sessions at the Y. A big thank you to Oak Square Y for such a memorable experience!

I love the community and diversity. The basketball scene is amazing. I've made new friends playing basketball, the leagues are fun and competitive, and the Y is the type of place you can form new relationships.

When will repairs be made at the Y?. The steam room has been out of service for 2+ weeks.. The single shower on the men's side is closed off with yellowcaution tape..The bathroom on the 2nd floor has been out of service forweeks..The wet towel dispensers on the 2nd floor fell off the walls andhave been sitting on the floor for weeks.I brought a friend by, who was interested in joining, to look at the facility. He noted the lack of maintenance and decided not to join.

It’s a perfectly nice YMCA, but one of the reasons our family joined was access to an indoor pool. Family swim times are limited and there are just too many members at this location to accommodate everyone in the therapy pool. Except once, every time I’ve taken my son swimming, we either had to wait or were told to leave because pool was at capacity and there was a line already waiting to use the pool. There’s really nothing the staff can do if the building is too small, but some info about other YMCA swimming options would be helpful, or post signs so you don’t get in, get changed and only find out when you enter the pool area. I would understand better if it was a public pool or this was an infrequent issue, but it’s frustrating to pay $100/month only to be told almost every time that you can’t use an amenity you’re paying for. We’re going to end up switching to a larger branch even though it’s much further out. If taking your kids to the pool is important to you, I highly recommend joining a different YMCA.

Our daughter loves the swim lessons at the Oak Square YMCA. Her instructor Martin is so nice and patient. The water and pool area is always so warm which is great for baby and kids swim lessons! We will definitely be signing up for future classes.

YMCA is a good place for workout for everybody, from children to elderly and between. There are the 100s ways in one place to be stronger, healthier and happy. There are pools, steam room, many strength training machines, treadmills, bicycles , group classes and much more for every demands and goals. The water and locker area are warm, neat and clean and have all necessary things. There is the place for dining as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am really pleased and feel stronger and more mobile after I started my training. Thank you all for your meaningful work.
