Flight Line Fitness Center NAS Oceana offers a mix of cardio and weight training equipment, making it suitable for various fitness levels. It features a spacious gymnasium with ample machines and a great basketball court. Veterans, active military, and dependents enjoy free access, and the friendly staff enhance the overall experience.
However, the facility has aging locker rooms that need maintenance, including broken tiles and inoperable steam rooms. While the gym generally stays clean and less crowded during mornings, better enforcement of rules and more accommodating hours would improve user satisfaction.

Nice gym. Definitely a better gym comparing to Dam Neck

Great facility. Some of the members, though, kept attempting to pick up the friends I was with. People don't go to gyms to pick up dates.

Locker rooms, sauna, and steam room are beaten up with broken doors, tiles, rotted wood, and walls. The steam room is completely broken and inoperable. The front desk staff don’t enforce rules of the gym.

Free for Veterans and Active and I think dependants. For a beginner or someone who just wants to stay fit and get toned I suggest coming here. There's not that many people in the mornings and around 1800.

The gym offers a variety of fitness systems: cardio, weight training, etc. And it plays a vital part in a healthy lifestyle that enhances quality of life.

This place has seen better days. The equipment is in decent shape, just not a lot of it considering the size of the base (2x flat benches, 1x powerlifting platform for example). I can’t speak for the female locker room, but the male locker room, especially the shower area, is in sore need of repair (missing or broken tiles, mold, etc). Does have a sauna and steam room, and ample cardio machines. Staff are great

The hours of this gym are really bad for a base gym. The overall facility is pretty good given the size. It would be nice if they were open by 4am to be able to work out before work.

Overall, a great facility. However, the large powerful fans located in the locker room are certainly against CDC recommendations. I am surprised other ventilation options have not been installed.
