My son started karate and BJJ at Kobukan this past February and he loves it. He’s not only learning martial arts but also discipline, how to show respect and how to have fun. He looks forward to learning from his coaches and from his peers, and he would spend every day in the dojo if he could. The dojo is welcoming and is very family oriented. We can’t wait for our youngest to turn 4 so she can start here.

We love Kobukan! My husband and I attend weekly classes of kickboxing as an active date night. Darryl, one of the kickboxing coaches, is awesome. I am not the quickest learner but he is patient, helpful, and has impressive skills! Ron and everyone at the dojo are very welcoming. Great workouts and a community of awesome people!

Great place to learn and practice! Ron and his team are welcoming. The facility is clean. Kickboxing is a blast and such a fantastic workout. Jiu Jitsu is hard work but rewarding. Im new to the dojo but over the past month I believe ive found a home here. Im excited to learn self defense while getting a good workout and making new friends. If your looking to get in shape or learn some new self defense skills I would highly recommend Kobukan.

My granddaughter is thriving here. It took her a couple classes to understand what to do and listen to what's going on. This was the main reason I brought her. She is doing well and the classes are great. She's listening and following directions much better. I would recommend this Dojo to anyone.

Went in the other day to try it out. My son is 8 and shy and needs to build his confidence. The main instructor came up and asked if he wanted to do this but my son being shy said no because he didn’t know what all was involved and the man coming up so quick, my son said no. Then the man just blew him off. Was hoping for someone to help him come out of his shell and ask him some questions but made it worse. I Will be looking for a instructor who will help him grow and knows how to talk to little kids who are shy so my son can know more of martial arts. I’m sure they were busy but I’ll spend my money else we’re.

Mr Ron is an amazing instructor and a black belt in multiple disciplines. As someone who has trained for over 15yrs I am proud to call Kobukan my home and Mr Ron my mentor.

Just an awesome environment for kids to learn a life skill, make friends among instructors that CARE about each and every student! NO contracts! Parents allowed to watch classes, positive behavior enforced across the board from home, to school, to dojo! Just too many positive things to say! come visit!

My daughter just started going here and she has tons of fun. She is also learning self-defense skills. I would def recommend this place!
