I went with a friend. Seems like your typical gym but nothing special. They do have child care available, which is nice if you have children.

Signed up for the top tier membership only to find the extras were very lacking. When you stop going but still pay for a year they don't complain but stop paying and they harass you canceling a membership is an issue there. Just skip the hassle go elsewhere

I went to visit the North Charleston location a few days ago to use a 1-day guest pass that I was granted online. I believe her name was Tiffany she claimed she was the assistant manager, this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a gym since being in SC with staff. She was on her phone when I walked in, didn’t greet me, and claimed that I’m trying to take advantage of a 1 DAY PASS (really a 1 day pass). Her attitude was so disgusting that one of other staff members walked away from her during her rant showing he was in disagreement with her actions. She then tried to charge me $40 for a guest pass and was so rude towards me that I had to leave. I was inquiring for a membership because I’m new to the area but I would never step foot in that facility again because of her. She will single-handedly cause that gym to sink.

This is a good, affordable gym. Decent equipment. Relatively clean staff is ok not a lot of hoodlums in there. Mostly people are there to work out. And they're serious about it. The only thing that I can say is maybe they should be. A little more attentive to the toilet paper and the paper towels an the soap. Otherwise, it's been a good experience for the year that I've been there.

“Without a doubt, the Crush fitness gym is awesome. It's quality, competence, ... The teachers, the reception, in short, I have nothing to complain about, only praise.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE ONE STAR REVIEWS BEFORE SIGNING UP!!!- nearly impossible to cancel membership- horrible customer service- personal trainers think they can cut in lines when it’s busy- only 3 squat racks- only 4 flat bench racks-bathrooms consistently gross- have to search for cleaning supplies because the stations are always emptyCanceling ASAP. I should’ve read the 1 star reviews. Lessons learned.

Hi Mark Gonzalez,I'm sorry I missed your message below whenever you sent it. Since I can't reply here's another review for your continued stellar customer service. I'm really happy to see how incredibly useless you were in assisting me in cancelling my membership. Instead of calling the number on my account or emailing the address I registered with or heck, even sending me a nice note. (Ya know, since I have to mail you maybe you could mail me.) It was not mentioned when I signed up because who in their right mind would do that. Also, it's clear from other reviews that isn't communicated well.I will have you know that I was able to get it cancelled. My step father who still lives in the area took my ID down there and asked yall to cancel it. And you did! Glad to know it's so easy for other people to cancel my membership but yet so difficult to cancel it myself. Your level of incompetence is nearly impressive."Hi Justin, the only way to cancel at Crunch is in person or by certified mail sent to:Crunch Fitness7800 Rivers Ave Suite 1300North Charleston, SC 29406Please include your name, email, phone number and barcode if you have it. When you signed your agreement this was stated in our cancellation policy. Thanks,Mike Gonzalez"

Have belonged for 2 yrs but recently management is non-existent. Haven't seen a manager for over 3 months. The class workout room is filthy with dirt and clumps Of hair everywhere! The mats and weights never get cleaned cause they only allow 1 cleaning spray bottle and with 10-15 people waiting for it, well.... we've asked for more bottles to be place in room but nothing. Go to $ store and buy a few! The AC doesn't work in the room and when we open door to get air in there they come and shut it. When you complain to staff they say they'll let mgmt know but they either aren't informing or mgmt doesn't care.I've already downgraded my membership, next step is out the door.

I have to leave this review. I usually go to the Crunch location on Ladson Rd. The gym and restrooms/showers are ALWAYS fresh and clean. I tried this location because it's closer to the shop. The gym was clean but the restroom/showers were DISGUSTING. The sinks were filthy, the stalls were filthy, and the shower area was so bad I didn't want to touch anything including the walls. The shower floors, walls, and doors were gross, the shower holders were rusted, the shower pressure was low, and 2 out of the 3 showers had no hot water. I will definitely get back to my regular spot. That's what I get for trying something new.

Brand new gym, clean equipment, friendly staff, and good hours. The base membership is only 10 dollars per month and childcare added to that is another 10. I love its proximity to my home and that I actually do business in the shopping center it's located in. My only complaint so far is that each time I come I try to use a paper towel dispenser, the one I want to use is empty.
