Really thought this gym would be the gym of my dreams before it opened, but it’s the complete opposite. it’s not really managements fault, more so that it is constantly packed no matter what time of the day you go, and you’re always dodging cameras left and right (even in the bathrooms). however, equipment is solid, the gym is clean, and i love the open turf area. but i will only venture to this location once a week to use equipment not available at other golds.

I called them today and inquire if i can bring my 15 years old son to try out the gym, but the lady i was spoke over the phone she said they've were not allowing 15th years old to be in the gymBecause is under age. Otherwise she advice me to buy a membership for him to be allowed using the gym to try out.

I’m not a local of Cerritos other than the fact that I attend college nearby at Cerritos College. I wanted to try the (1) day pass so I could hit the gym while I’m in school. Since I’m not a resident I couldn’t try the gym without paying for a gym pass or a one day pass. Surprising when other gyms would let me.

After spending some time there, I have to say that I was impressed by the facilities and the overall experience.Facilities:Gold's Gym Cerritos has a spacious and well-lit facility with a variety of equipment and amenities. The gym is clean and well-maintained, which is always a good sign. The gym has a variety of cardio machines such as treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes, which are all in excellent condition. There are also weight machines and free weights, as well as a large functional training area with equipment such as kettlebells, medicine balls, and resistance bands. The gym also has a sauna and steam room, which is a nice touch.Staff:The staff at Gold's Gym Cerritos are knowledgeable and friendly. Ok, so anyone giving low stars due to over crowdedness or ppl recording themselves need to start actually opening their own garage gyms or join private gyms.On the second hand it's a good specious gym. Only concern is that machines shouldn't take more than 1 week to get fix, this is a new gym and the maintenance should be on point. Overall hygiene is ok.Remember, this is a commercial gym.

Poor management! Asked a front desk guy if i could do inbody scan? He went inside a office to ask someone and never came back. Most Tiktoker with tripod and shirtless dude showing off and the gym management don’t care.Hardly ever any equipment available. Packed and overhyped gym. I would rather go somewhere else where there is more equipment available.

Be aware that if you sign up at another location that isn't this one, you'll have only a handful of visits to this location. My boyfriend signed up for La Mirada thinking he had unlimited visits to all locations ( as you normally do ) to only find out he has about 10 visits left with Cerritos before he cant visit anymore. This information SHOULD be relayed to anyone signing up the day you do it.

Gym itself is smaller than expected which is fine but it's the etiquette of the patrons and lack of attention from staff that makes this the worst Gold's I've ever been to. There are both weights and trash everywhere. I have yet to see anyone wipe down equipment they used. A tremendous amount of people are filming and taking videos without care for those around them even in the bathrooms. I have frequented the La Mirada, Anaheim, and Fullerton locations for over a year and the Cerritos one is by far the worst. I was looking forward to its opening due to proximity but what an absolute let down. Worse than having to poo after taking a shower. Highly recommend going to one of the other locations. I have come here at all hours weekdays and weekends and it's always chaotic in the worst way possible.
