I have been training here for nearly two years since moving to Oakland. I've tried other local academies and the instruction is absolutely top tier. Eduardo is hands down the best instructor I have encountered in 5 states and five years of practice.Everyone is clenly, friendly, rolls hard and is still mindful of the fact that it's sparring and not the World Martial Arts tournament. All the instructors are knowledgable, and willing to assist you no matter your level. A must visit if you're in town.

Excellent place to train Brazilian jiujitsu! Professor Eduardo is beyond knowledgeable in the art. His instructions are clear and to the point, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Other students are extremely helpful and ready to explain the techniques.Beyond techniques, I feel like this place carries the spirit of the martial art. There's a rare sense of focus, mental clarity, self-control, and resilience. I find it very helpful for life in general.
