The team coaches are wonderful. They train the girls to have confidence, try their best and never give up, great life skills! Gymnastics is tough and the coaches have the perfect balance of firm and loving. They always encouraged our daughter. We have truly enjoyed our many years at Oceanside Gymnastics.

Pretty bummed on the staff. I’m not sure if the owner is aware but we discussed some issues and they was no problem solving that takes places. You work with kids so hire teachers that have the ability to work with children please. I don’t take my complaint lightly as a fellow business owner. You have to have employees who give a darn.

My daughter has been coming to camp 3 times and she has not been greeted once nor I. I paid for half day but I bet if I don't pick her up at 12 they won't notice.

DO NOT go to this place. Read the other one star reviews- this place is terrible. Young children are not safe (you can't even watch the youngest and most vulnerable children because they keep them out of sight). The owners are unprofessional and rude; if you are unlucky enough to ever see them they will talk to you about their pathetic political beliefs. The place is dirty. There is no roll call or parent check-in before class so its a chaotic free for all as class starts. And on top of all this, they will auto-enroll you in additional courses. They hide this trick somewhere in all the online documentation. I've never had such a terrible experience in any of my children's activities. Literally any other gym, rec center of children's activity is dramatically better than this place!

We went there for over a year, I do not see my kid getting any better at anything. They just let everyone jump and run around that is at least my impression. And when I called for a makeup class they hide behind polices and regulations and will never help or accommodate any requests. Very frustrating!

PARENTS BEWARE...MAJOR SAFETY CONCERNS! I don't usually write negative reviews, but when it comes to child safety I make an exception. I enrolled my 4 year old here because it was the only gymnastics center in town at the time. It had mixed reviews, but nothing too bad.At first, I only had minor concerns. The classes were crowded and, with so many going on at once, the gym was very chaotic. For the little kids in their first independent class, parents had to watch from outside the building pressing their faces on the windows to see, or from a small crowded room on tiny tv screens trying to find a glimpse of their child. The staff seemed knowledgeable. So I thought as long as the teachers could safely monitor their own class amidst all the chaos, at least my child would be safe. I WAS WRONG!In March 2020 my baby took a big fall, briefly lost consciousness, and was brought to me screaming and bleeding from her eye. The gym has what I can only describe as an elevated (5' high?) long rectangular trampoline lane. The kids are asked to walk up several steps to an elevated platform and take turns jumping down the trampoline lane as the instructor watches from below. On the day of the accident, I was scanning the screens to capture any brief images of my daughter as usual, and saw her instructor carrying a limp child that looked like mine. Then I heard her screams and ran to the front so quickly that I left my purse behind. She was bleeding from her eye, screaming, confused, scared, and couldn't walk on her own.I was told she "wasn't paying attention, jumped the wrong way on the trampoline and took a little fall" (basically blaming a seriously injured 4 year old for the facility's lack of supervision and safety precautions). They showed me footage of her accident as I was trying to stop her bleeding, comfort her, and get out to rush her to the ER). Here is what the video showed. All the kids in the class crowded together on the steps and platform, giggling and playing, taking turns jumping down the trampoline lane. The instructor (off to the side on the ground) appeared to have his focus split between the kids on the trampoline and someone else. He was too far away to safely spot the children, and would turn away to speak to someone and then turn back to his class. There is no way these little kids should have been up there without a spotter.I saw my child take her turn. She must have taken a funny jump because she launched like a rocket (superman style) back toward the platform face first into the metal barrier surrounding the raised platform (it resembled a rod iron fence...with no safety padding around the metal poles like you would see on other gym equipment used with little kids). The teacher was off camera as my daughter launched face first into the metal barrier and fell unconscious and limp face down onto the platform. A moment later, I saw the instructor come back on camera rushing to the platform, pick up my unconscious child and carry her toward the front, which is when she awoke and started screaming.I understand there are inherent risks with gymnastics. I wouldn't blame the facility had they taken appropriate measures to keep my child safe, but I do not believe they did. And what happened next only confirmed their total lack of regard for the safety and well being of the children entrusted to their care. As I was rushing my child to the ER, the manager said they would follow up the next day to make sure she was ok and have me complete an incident report. It has been almost a year and no one has ever followed up, even after I left a message several days later that my daughter had a concussion, needed stitches over her eye (and may need facial plastic surgery). To add insult to injury, this was only the second class in the (12 week?) series we paid for. They closed due to COVID two weeks later and never offered a refund for the unused classes, and then had the gall to call me recently to inform me they had an opening and ask if I want to buy more classes. I think NOT!!!

We had very uncomfortable conversation with one of the male stuff. He charged our account without us even being there(at some point we just called to see what is the new COVID policy). When asked if we are going to come next time, we said that we will try. That was a red light for him to charged us, without even letting us know. When I called him to figure out what is going on, he was very, very rude and frustrated. I totally understand why he feels that way but it is very wrong to talk to a customer like that. I DO WANT MY KID BACK THERE but I am scared for her health like any other parent. Being rude is not the solution for anything

Let's start off with the place is clean. Employees are professional. The reason for the two stars is their boys gymnastics program lacks the structure that is needed. The instructors have no focus on training the boys on one specific task. They run the boys all over the gym from station to station. While the instructors talk with one boy all the other boys are just running around. The instructors need to be more assertive and take over the class not the children. The company definitely is focused on the girls programs. I will not sign my son up again here. It was a waste of money.

We've tried to take an assessment class for the past three weeks and each time we don't find out the class is cancelled until we show. It's not easy telling all the kids they don't get to do gymnastics yet again.

Hello,I am new to California and I was searching for a place for my daughter to expand her craft of gymnastics. Well I came across " Oceanside Gymnastics". I had to look no further. After coming in and getting the Red Carpet Treatment my daughter feels as though she has been there for years. Oceanside Gymnastics is very professional, knowledgeable, and truly family orientated. I would highly encourage everyone to come and be apart of the team. Michael your team is amazing and " Thank You" for the great hospitality you show us each and every time we cross the threshold of your establishment.
