My son has thoroughly enjoyed Vanderson Gomes classes. He is 6 years old and it has helped with his concentration, patience, and strength. It is a family friendly place and my husband and I enjoy watching him grow.

Professor Vanderson is fantastic! His school is legit, he even goes so far as to prove every single technique he teaches will work to anyone questioning.He cares about both the physical and mental side of the martial art which I believe is rare in the US, but very important.He'll teach both self-defense and the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.Best of all, he makes sure to work with each student individually when needed. It's obvious how much he cares about his students.All in all, 10/10. You won't find a better place to learn BJJ in Saint Louis.

Vanderson is a wonderful Professor and teacher. He has taught all three of my kids for the last two years and what they have learned is not only great technique in Jiu-Jitsu but valuable life skills and lessons. He has great patience, compassion and makes class a very enjoyable learning environment.

So happy I went with my gut and tried Vanderson Gomes jujitsu even after joining a different gym. My daughter absolutely loves him and the other kids in class. My husband is also now training at this gym, We have found a new family and an amazingly humble competitive sport to grow in as a family!

I have only been practicing traditional Brazilian jujitsu for a little over a year with this great family. I think to myself why couldn’t I have met this group of guys at ten years old. These guys and professor Vanderson Gomez will reshape your life.

I have trained under Professor Gomes since he opened here in O Fallon Mo. Unlike other schools Professor Gomes devotes a lot time to each student personally. At most other schools you have to pay extra for private lessons to get this type of attemtion. He definetly provides his students everything they need to succeed in BJJ.

Why train BJJ here? I don't know maybe it's the great teammates who bring tons of experience, encouragement, and personal time to the gym. Each person works for the benefit of the others. Maybe it's the small classes so the professor is able to watch and help you improve during every class. Maybe it's that feeling when I walked in, and Vanderson explained to the other students how they needed to help me along as I learned the art. Then again, it might be having the chance to train with a 3rd-degree black belt who has competed and won all over the world for the last 24 years, and with the small classes, getting to roll with him as a white belt. In fact, the answer it is all of these reasons. This is the third gym I've trained in over my 5 years in BJJ, and by far it is the best gym I have ever been too, so if you want to improve, learn to defend yourself, get in better shape, or just have fun this is the place for you.

Professor Vanderson is a great teacher. His school is a legit Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training center. Personal instruction is given to each student. I am so happy that i found this place in o'fallon.
