Vanderson Gomes is an amazing professor. He has taught my children skills that will be useful throughout their entire life through his training. He has not only taught them physical skills; he has instilled respect, discipline, compassion and self confidence in them.

My boys have been training with Professor Gomes for 3 years now and they absolutely LOVE it! Professor Gomes not only teaches kids, but he empowers them and gives them confidence! He knows what it takes to be competitive because he still competes himself! I highly recommend this school regardless of whether your child simply wants to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a skill or if they want to get to the level of competing. Professor Gomes is the best!

We LOVE professor Vanderson Gomes! My son has been going to class here for a bit over a year. He loves it. A fantastic traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy taught by an even better practitioner of this amazing martial art. Both my daughter and I have been studying under Professor Gomes and his under study for the last year and a half. We have gained so much knowledge, perspective and love for this martial art. Professor Gomes has created both a disciplined and family friendly environment for all levels of learning and skill. I've trained with Professor Vanderson Gomes for the last 5 years, and 10 years total. He is first and foremost a fantastic human being, and is also an internationally known and respected competitor, instructor, and referee.He takes complex movements and breaks them down to make them simple; even for beginning level students. He gives individualized attention to all students, regardless of belt level or experience. He strives to grow the knowledge of all students collectively, leaving no one behind in class. The character of his students is equally important as their skill development, making it a great environment for both children and adults alike.In closing, I consider Professor Vanderson Gomes a mentor, close friend, and all around great guy. He is selfless when it comes to his students, and I would encourage anyone to come in and train with him and our welcoming team.

Professor Gomes is an outstanding teacher of BJJ. His work with both the kids and adult classes is second to none.
