Not very women friendly. I was driving by this gym and I stopped to quickly ask for info. There are two entrances so when I walked in I asked if they are both the same gym. The owner looked at me as if the question offended him. I ask if I can see the installations on the other side he is looking at me like not really answering. I see only men, so I ask if there are women students (because I would fill more comfortable). Before he can answer any questions I have to go to his web site and enter my information. He said his classes are $100 per month which the cost sounds reasonable but after I ask if there are any women in his class, he said his wife has a boot camp class for $325.00. I ask if that is per month and he confirms. Well this is much more expensive than the $80.00 to $100.00 per month that other gyms charge!!! I ask him for a printed schedule, I am there ready to sign up and he tells me to go online and print it. I look at him, doesn’t he want any business? Doesn’t he want new students that pay monthly fees? I need to oversee the schedule quickly to see if the hours meet my work schedule instead he sent me home to print it. It sounds like the customer is an inconvenience. He is bullying me and a child walks in, it appears like it is his son. He stops bullying me and stays silent from that point forward when he is in front of his son. To think that in order for me to not be bullied his son would need to be standing right next to me during workouts! I checked his web site right now and his wife offers a $325.00 for twelve weeks (3 months) and not monthly. This $325.00 class is a beginners class that teaches basics of boxing and kickboxing that includes gloves and some other stuff. I told him I already practiced kickboxing and boxing so that means I know the basics and I already have all the equipment, so when a customer is not being listened to , bullied and pushed into the wrong direction, and the customer”s questions seem to be offending and inconveniencing him then what does that mean, That he doesn’t want female customers. Customers need to ask questions to find out if the gym fits their needs, here questions are not allowed and looked at with distrust.

My 15 year old son has been taking boxing lessons for 10 months now at Foleys Gym. Dave and Todd are wonderful trainers and have taught my son so much. He's had 2 fights now. He is completely obsessed.

The women’s boxing coach is amazing! She’s incredibly patient and caring to help you get the technique down. The gym itself has a lot of history too which is really neat. I love this place.

I wanted to go here for a little before leaving a review. I'm glad I did because I got to know the coaches and learn. This place deserves 6 stars! I started in the woman's kickboxing class but a no related broken pinky toe is sending me to the more boxing heavy classes. As a woman, it seems intimidating at first but the environment and everyone is so welcoming. I quit my vasa membership because each class here has me leaving feeling like I put my all into it.If you're new or advanced, they seem to cater to you (granted I'm incredibly new). I say give the free class a shot. I did and now I'm a member

I am going for the Women's Kickboxing class. It is an interactive class. One where you work with the bags and get some good conditioning too. You will definitely feel the workout the next day. Highly recommend you check this out.

Dave is very knowledgeable. He is coaching our two boys and my husband and I. After being in the business as long as he has, his is still passionate and eager to teach and coach. He never makes us feel bad when we ask him to remind us of movements. He gives our kids great attention. We love it at Foleys!
