Lockers rooms and overall gym itself is pretty gross and run down. Talked several times with online chat reps and even a phone call with district manager last week and still nothing has improved.Also, went to Ogden location at 4am opening time and doors locked. Second time in 2 weeks VASA has been closed when they were supposed to be open. Why am I paying for a gym that isnt open when they are supposed to be?

There is a great need to have a better focus on locker room cleanliness. Men’s locker room usually always smells like an outhouse. Hand dryers stalls all are in dire need of a deep cleaning.

Entire gym is filthy, why can't they spend some time CLEANING the locker rooms??? Equipment is worn down and water fountains are dirty. Staff seems indifferent to members abusing equipment. Facility needs an overall "refresh" .

This place has gone down hill at a steady pace.I went to EoS at the Junction in Ogden a couple weeks ago with a friend on a guest pass and was shocked at the difference in cleanliness and overall upkeep compared to the Ogden Vasa location. I also went to the VASA Clearfield location about 2 months ago since I was in the area and you would think the VASA Clearfield location was some high end resort compared to the Ogden VASA location. Night and day difference in cleanliness, upkeep and overall presentation of facility.Hopefully someone high up at VASA Corporate is aware of the Ogden shortcomings and has a plan in place...such as moving to a new building, building a new location, etc because I think part of the problem is the age and location(sketchy) of this building.

Read the other REAL reviews and dont fall for fake 5star reviews with nothing written. Seems like whenever a real review written, a Vasa employee or bot with follow up with a 5 star review and not write anything just to boost ratings, pathetic Vasa!Equipment is always out of order with little signs saying they are "aware of problem and working to fix"...maybe they should include "will fix in the next 5 years!" and restrooms and locker rooms embarrassingly nasty. Countless kids in gym at any given time as well.

***update*** Locker room is even nastier than before, I come to workout several times a week and never see actual cleaning occurring. So gross!!!I joined a few months ago and can say the club has been nasty ever since joining. Not sure if mens locker room is ever cleaned. The floors and actual lockers need some serious TLC. Also whatever renovations they are doing in weight area seems like it will never be done! If you are looking for a gym that is very crowded and filthy, has rude members, and inattentive staff, this is the place for you!

Vasa is a ok gym. But paramount acceptance is a scam. I had a membership for over a year and was charged $55 to cancel my basic membership. Also steam room was always nasty. Don't go here if you plan on using and amenities other than the gym.

Just an update, vasa "took care" of shower vent grate by throwing it away, now just a big opening where the vent fan is and even dirtier than before. All the grout in the showers have mold as well.So dirty, never seen facility actually being wiped down/deep cleaned, especially locker rooms. Attached pictures to show what comes up just by using a wipe in basketball courts window sill and locker room wall trim. Also attached a picture of the men's locker room shower vent grille, which has never been cleaned ,so gross!!! Finally there was probably a 6-7 year old boy in free weight area today, picture attached. I asked front desk attendant what age requirement is and she said 12 w/ adult/18 w/o adult, told her about little boy in weight area using weights unattended and her response was, "oh thanks for letting me know, didn't see him come in." Nothing else was done about it and the kid stayed in the area for at least an hour. Vasa, do better!

Starting off I am dissatisfied with the vasa hour adjustments since covid especially considering the flexible hours are why I started going to vasa. I especially wish they didn’t close so early on Sundays.Something that is nice about this location is that for some reason the pool isn’t usually that busy which I love but it could be because it isn’t the cleanest. There’s usually random stuff at the bottom which is kind of gross but I’ve been to grosser locations in slc so.The workers are really friendly and nice to talk to though usually which I appreciate. I’ve never felt unwelcome by them. The woman’s locker rooms are decently maintained unlike most locations (specifically west valley and van winkle) so that’s nice. I wish they had a hip abductor machine I think they only have the adductor (the one you use to bring your legs inwards) maybe I’ve not been able to find it I’m not sure but those help with my hip pain and strengthening so it’s sad they don’t have one figured I’d mention it if anyone really likes those and needs it as a part of their workout.

Quick revision. Complained several times and club is nevercleaned, they don't care!Club is getting ready for New Years rush of new potential members by trying to clean and repair facility, but after they sign up hundreds of new memebers, club will fall into shambles as it has been for months. For example, first time I have ever seen court mopped, but they left puddles of water after, not good for a wooden court! Mens locker room still gross. Dust bunnies everywhere around equipment. Top it off with a homeless man camping next to the bike rack for the last week.
