I moved to this area last year (no, I'm not from California) and have been swimming laps here since last fall. The staff is nice, but they add activities during the advertised lap swim hours without posting a change in lap swim hours to the web site. I've wasted several hours during my work day driving here only to have lap swim not available.

The complex is a great place to go swimming with the kids. It's never very crowded, they have lap swim in the morning, and open swim in the evening, and especially in the summer the place is very sparse. The racquetball courts are fun, but usually busy and they have pickleball that's really cool. I haven't really used the gym much so I can't say anything about there, but for the few dollars it cost to get in you can spend the afternoon and have a good time. The facilities a little dated, but they're clean and kept in good repair.

Allison is an awesome swim instructor. She’s very sweet and always knows how to make things fun! Definitely coming back!!

I just got denied entrance to the Roy complex because I have kids. Not only is that discrimination, but the supervisor Cindy doesn't have a right to deny people entrance to a public facility when we weren't breaking any rules. I have kids …

My intention to write this review is to have my daughter be able to use a lane during lap swim morning hours the next time I visit. We were denied access to lap swim at 7:30 am this morning. Cindy Taylor’s excuses came from every angle. No kids at this hour. Can’t teach lessons. Too busy. Dangerous. Adult patrons get upset if kids are taking a lane. Come back at 1-2:00pm, which is still lap swimming hours. I made rebuttals but at that point she said, “get out”. We were denied entry.I’m confident my child can swim across a pool. There were open lanes because I checked before I left. There’s no rule posted about adults only during lap swim. I don’t believe it’s her decision to make that call.My reason for needing the community pool is that we’ve used a backyard pool for lessons and needed practice in longer lanes so my daughter could use her strokes.

The best place hands down for swim lessons! It's no wonder there is a wait and hard to get in but well worth it. I took my children somewhere else for their first swim lessons and what a joke! Way to many kids in the class, no one paying attention to the children just awful! Roy complex is just amazing, small class size limits allows the instructors to actually teach the children! Wonderful staff all around! Highly recommend!!!

I really like the complex for family swimming and water aerobics (5 stars for that aspect) but 3 stars is honestly being generous for summer swim lessons. The classes are overbooked 8 kids in a class with a “max” of 6. There is no lifeguard …

Good gym during the day. In the evenings, however, there are often a group of kids running around playing on the equipment. Not sure where their parents are.

I love the swimming lessons offered here! Well organized and trained teachers. My kids learned so much and gained confidence which is so important in the water. Can't wait to come back next year.
