H&K is my favorite gym in Omaha and it’s one of the most affordable for what you get. I am able to do a month to month membership without being penalized, compared to other gyms that require a one year membership. They have nice and clean equipment, as well as 2 levels + sauna / steam room!

I literally go to school at uno I paid 3k for the summer semester yet I don’t have access to the gym and I had to get a membership for the summer. Makes no sense horrible business practice and a complete scam if you pay to go there for school you should have access to the gym any time. I’ve lost a lot of respect for UNO seems like they are a cash grab school.

H and K is always very clean well staffed well staffed and accommodating for students students. It is however annoying that the University forces professors and other staff members of the University to pay for gym access When they are already contributing so much to the University the least of the University could seem to do especially during a time of pandemic globally would be to give them free gym access so that they could stay in physical and mental shape. I would also like to add that the OVC and the racketball courts are slept on by many people. Check out the OVC when they are open and rent some gear! It's amazing and you can have a great time. Staff there can also give you outdoor recommendations.

The facility is an amazing place to work out, but the Injury Prevention & Care clinic is a complete joke. I went there with runner's knee seeking some advice but the kid there told me she "didn't know anything" and "didn't run". So I guess I'll have to make an appointment with a real Injury Prevention & Care clinic. I have no idea what the one in H&K actually does. I suspect the kid just wanted me to leave so she could go back to playing candy crush on her phone. Also I pulled into the parking lot and women ran out and told me I had to park across the street because I wasn't allowed to park in this lot for another 10 minutes. "Didn't the cop say anything to you?" No, I just pulled right in and parked. Had to go park in a totally different lot rather than sit out on the road for 10 minutes to wait to park in an empty parking lot. Just very odd behavior.

I've been working out here on and off for 30 years. There are many pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful workout spaces. Many machines, most of which are new, great natural light, and very clean. The indoor track, pool, jacuzzi and rock climbing room are all amazing. *Most* of the time you don't have to wait to use equipment. The massage chairs near the atrium area are also pretty cool. I find this to be the best gym in Omaha and continue to work out here in spite of all of the cons. Cons: As an alumni, your membership costs more than a guest membership. Alumni have to pay the annual $25 "donation" to maintain an alumni membership and as of right now, the monthly membership fee is $45. As a guest of a student or staff member, the monthly membership is $40 and you don't have to maintain the alumni membership. In the north weight room, they often play a lot of bro music. There are many cubbies in the north weight room to store personal belongings but most of the guys just rudely throw their giant duffle bags down on the benches that are supposed to provide places to sit. There is then no where to sit and the weight room staff don't do anything to enfore this rule other than writing about it on the white board that no one reads. The women's locker room is usually filthy; the floor is covered in water and hair. In the afternoon and evenings the women's locker room is filled with both high school and UNO swim team members. They are consistently loud, rude, rowdy and dirty. There is an odd dress code that is meant to prevent people from getting and spreading MRSA, some of the weight room workers enforce it, some don't. It would be really great if there were more designated areas for stretching and warm up.

The gym is great. The equipment is always in working condition and there is plenty of equipment so no waiting on line for others to finish. They also offer rock climbing, swimming, hot tub, and plenty of basketball courts.

UNO has many pros & cons to it's Wellness center.Pros:Lots of variety like 2 different weight rooms, swimming pool, basketball courts, and more.1 weight room for lifting and another for cardioDecent locker rooms that have sonaIndoor TrackCons:(Unless you get their around 6-6:20 am) Parking is garbage. (your next closet parking lot if surface pass is weber but that lot is full by 7)Have 4 racks for squatting that are usually fulllockers are big enough to have 1 maybe 2 bagsLocker room is broken up into smaller areas and if busy become crampt. But Overall it's a decent place to go (especially if your a student)

As an alumni of this institution I would hope that I would be able to use this facility for no charge or at a discounted rate. I recently went to workout, other individuals were walking through the gate without being charged and I had to pay. I have paid thousands of dollars to this school for a degree. Please take this $6 as my alumni donation ✌🏻

Great place to exercise! Has a sauna, steam room, pool, showers, lockers for rent, and a couple different fitness areas. Has nice bottle refills stations and a small cafe for drinks and snacks.
