Can’t believe a health club with a pool and a sauna would not have towels available. We came in from out of town and we couldn’t do our workout because of this. Very unlike a Genesis to not have a simple thing like a towel. Would not recommend going to this location.

Had a great talk with the manager and he was able to help accommodate my short term interests in using the gym! Thank you to the team and especially the management! I hope to come back soon 🙂 …

I love how close this location is to my house! Everyone is friendly and each location has a little bit of its own vibe since they are all set up a little differently wich is great because there are so many options around town location wise.

I have been a member of this specific gym for a little over a year. The sign-up process and the facility itself, for the most part, is the reason I recommended this specific location to many of my friends in Omaha, looking for the a gym.In late April, early May I received a couple e-mails from GHC offering me a complimentary personal training session. I was contacted pretty quickly and was set up with a trainer. I received two complimentary sessions. Each complimentary sessions the trainer sat me down to talk about options for personal training packages and sessions. I had been hesitant after our first complimentary session, because I had some concerns about my schedule. I decided not to sign on, then. The second time we met, we spoke about packages and schedules again. I voiced the same concerns, my schedule and the personal trainers schedule. The individual that was involved in my sign on process for PT sessions ensured me that that wouldn't be an issue and they would work with my schedule. I asked if I could speak with my significant other and ensure that it would work with my schedule and his, before indefinitely committing. This trainer essentially stated, don't let your relationship get in the way of your fitness goals, we will make it work with your schedule. To say I felt super pressured to sign on is an understatement. He ultimately presented paying upfront for the sessions as my best option. He then proceeded to show me the schedule of the trainer I would be working with. At this point I became more hesitant and anxious, because I realized pretty quickly my schedule would have to work with her schedule not mine. He presented this specific trainer as one of the more flexible ones. The nature of my job, my schedule can change pretty quickly. I voiced this again, and he said let's just get you signed on and the trainer you are working with can work with your schedule. We then made it to the check out where I was told I'd pay a total fee upfront for the total number of sessions. I was provided with the receipt and went on my way.I had communicated with the trainer quite frequently for the first couple weeks. The scheduled sessions inevitably ended up having to be rescheduled or I wasn't able to commit to the session openings she offered, because it's did not match with my schedule. This trainer was great with communication, our schedules just did not line up. So, mid June I called Member Services to see if I could just receive a refund for the sessions as a month had gone by and I still was unable to receive the services I had paid for. Member Services informed me this would be a club level issue. A week went by and they were inevitably able to get me into contact with the Fitness Manager. The FM contacted me via e-mail and stated that PT sessions are non-refundable and that she would be willing to get me signed for sessions. At this point I was unhappy about the situation and I declined to schedule as the trainer schedule was not as flexible as I was told. I requested a refund due to the nature of the situation and the FM was able to communicate with me that they would be unable to do so, because I had signed a contract agreement in the portal that stated that the training sessions were NF. I requested a copy of the agreement, because I did not remember signing an agreement. The FM informed me she would try to get this for me. I realized how poorly this situation was handled and I decided to end my membership with GHC. Upon canceling my membership I wanted to ensure that I did not sign up for an on-going contract for PT sessions. This is when the FM made me aware I did not sign a contract that would have made me aware or was intended to make me aware that PT sessions are NF. This is also where I was made aware that I should have been informed verbally and the receipt. I was not informed verbally prior to the purchase that it was not NF. So, it rendered it impossible for me to be aware prior to purchase that it was NF. I hope this serves as an example to have a more formal agreement, sign-on process.

My trainer is excellent and the facilities are well kept. There is always someone to help you or encourage you. I have had numerous occasions when someone has called me by name, whom I didn't know and helped me up or encouraged me. I would definitely recommend training at Genesis and working out there! Mike is the best trainer and extremely talented and knowledgeable. Darshan Koffi is !n assistant club manager, an excellent representative of what the club is all about . He is always there to help or greet you!

I would give zero stars if I could. I started my membership in 2021 and called October 2022 to cancel my account. I was in contact with someone that worked at the Genesis at Sprague and we agreed that it would be okay to get charged for November and then discontinue my membership and was informed that everything was good and settled. In January I noticed I had been charged for December and January. I called to get it fixed and they informed me that my membership had not been cancelled. They cancelled it then and told me I would receive my refund in a couple business days. I never received it and so I called and left my name and number on multiple occasions to which I never received a call back. When I would call, I would be given the run around on when the manager would be there. I would be asked to call back in an hour and when I would the manager would've just left. I called corporate in Kansas City to try to resolve my issue and no one could help me get my money back. I called my bank and was refunded the money once they conducted an investigation. Genesis then decided to call me to tell me I needed to update my banking information because they have not received payment. It is now April and I still receive calls and mail saying I owe them money. If you would like my advice, I do not recommend this gym. They seem to only care about getting your money and lack in customer service. They were unable to carry out the duties of their job such as cancelling my account, answering or returning calls, or putting me in contact with a manager when requested. Find a gym that cares about you and will take the time to listen to you and fulfill the roles and responsibilities that they promise to do.
