UFC GYM La Mirada

I love this gym because of the totality of the gym environment. The place is clean and there is an abundance of free weights and squat racks. They also have Concept2 rowers, weighted medicine balls, pull up bars and kettlebells. I utilize the Kids Club for my 5 year old and she really enjoys it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Many of the people there are polite and courteous. Would recommend to friends and family.

A few months ago, I tried it UFC gym. I was excited. First day, I decided to sign up my family. I was told by GM Fain, my 4 y/o could enroll in youth camp. Paid 300+ for my daughter and I. The following day, I was told GM Fain should not have made that agreement and my daughter could not participate. I asked for a refund. At which point, GM Fain was "nice " and agreed to refund my money, 300+. Months later, several emails back and forth and no word. Looks can be deceiving.

I've been bouncing around the local locations and this one is easily my favorite. The atmosphere and classes are great... and without the pretentious vibes you get from HB and Industry.

Honestly a great location. Been in a few times as a guest and never had an issue waiting for equipment. Bootcamp classes. The prices are a not that bad. However, the facility to me is worth it. You get what you pay for. A clean gym, great selection of equipment, friendly staff and they have protein shakes.

I've had a membership forever, I just have one simple request. Bring back the other punching bags. It shouldn't just be one kind. Thank you.

Good gym with good equipment. They have barbells, heavybags kettlebells, CrossFit equipment and bench press machines plus a sauna. That’s where your money goes in a good gym. Plus they have an octagon and kids club. If you’re serious about training this is the place. My only complaint is for the price, they should treat you better and when you try to contact management they never respond. At all!! Also if you’re not careful with the kids club sign in, because they will charge you a late pick up fee a month or two later, when you were never late. And to try to get your money back for it is a waste of time. You’ll have to dispute the charges cuz they’ll give you the run around. But all in all it’s a good gym.

Great place for serious gym rats. Ufc is spacious, with lots of fun classes to join. Wide variety of equipment and great supplements to purchase.

Unfortunately I’m having the worst time with this gym. I signed up for 12 personal trainer session last wenesday, unfortunately I knew something was up since I’ve tried to get in contact with the JT and he’s still hasn’t got back to me. I tried calling 7 times and went twice in person to cancel and I still haven’t got my refund. This place can care less about their customers and I’m upset with the bad service here. Seems like they took my $600 and ran with it. It’s been 6 days and I haven’t gotten a call, text or email from upper management. I tried to file a complaint with headquarter and the don’t give you an option to speak to someone, just the nearest gym.

Been trying to cancel for two weeks. Should have gotten my money back by then and still nothing has been done but they have no problem continuing to charge me. I have been charged 4 times in one month totaling over $250+. Called in again for a refund and guy at front desk couldnt even talk right. Mumbling and stuttering the whole time. Wouldnt provide his name because he thought he would get in trouble. Asked to speak w a manager regarding a refund and cancellation. I was told the two available managers didnt want to take the call as my concerns had no benefit or commission for them. They were too lazy and didnt care to handle the situation. One guy handles all refunds that he cant even authorize without consent of upper management and HR. Im a big fan of UFC brand but this type of service is absolutely ridiculous. Since when are managers allowed to pick and choose when they want to handle refunds and cancellations. I have to provide a commission for them to handle my situation. Id give this place zero stars if i could. Overpriced for amentities hardly used by anyone other than the sauna. Trainers who set up trainings and dont bother to show or at least give a heads up.
