It says twice on the website that they still have Sunday open gym 4:30-6pm, there's nobody here and the door is locked.

1 star it tooooo much for this place! Dirty and smelly place. The entire facility is old, broken and dusty. The owner, Kurt, and all the staff are rude, mean and arrogant. Coaches are on their phones all the time and talking with each other instead of coaching the kids. Coaches also pick a favorite kid and ignore the rest. No skills will ever be shared because the coaches don't even know what your child can or cannot do. If you need to speak to someone - good luck. No one ever answer the phone. Double booking birthday parties. I can write a book what is wrong with AAG.The only thing they do right is to charge you!Do not waist your time or money o AAG.

ETA: The CEO is now giving out my cell phone number to have people harass me. Seriously, be careful with this place.First of all, when I arrived for my kids' party, they were double booked AND had no idea that either family was coming for a party. The man I spoke with, who I found out later was the CEO, acted inconvenienced every time I spoke with him, rolled his eye a lot, etc. To even get his attention, I had to go into a group of gymnasts and scream "is anyone here staff?" TWICE. The "CEO" rolled his eyes and told me that essentially if this situation negatively affected my kids party that they must be babies. (Yes, you read that right.)I had called three time in the preceding days with several questions and never received a response. So, we ended up having to share the gym with kids 5 years older than my kids even though their website says it will be just your party. Not only that, but they had gymnasts sitting around, not wearing masks and stripping down from their leotards while adults were around. So instead of just us, it was another party and at least 25 other people from the gym. When I told a "manager" that this happened, she told me that I am the problem and that I am sexualizing children. No - I was not. Allowing children (teenagers) to change in front of grown adults is NOT OKAY EVER.DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. I have been telling everyone I know and will continue to do so. This place is unprofessional, does not care about customer service, will try to make you feel stupid and will try to get out of giving any refunds. Don't let them. Just avoid this place in general.

The place is dirty and unfriendly. I signed up my 3 y old son and thought he would spent nice time and learn something. What a disappointment! From the first lesson I felt we are not welcome. My son does not speak English and I know it is hard to work like that but the teachers weren't helpful at all- that does not happend in different places, where we have other classes. I understand that with group classes it's hard to work individually but with 3 kids in a group, you could spent some more time to show exercises. Now I understand why they have so many bad reviews. I definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place.

This business is not ADA compliant. My son is deaf and I enrolled him in the 4-5 year old gymnastics class. I requested a cued speech transliterator to provide him access to what the coach was saying since the gym is so noisy. The Academy refused to provide the accommodation, saying it cost too much and he didn't need it. We did, however agree to having a second coach for the class to help my son. He has been attending the class for 7 months and there has been a second coach for only TWO of the classes.

They could have name it as Stinky Sock Gymnastics..... very stinky smell. Absolutely no hygiene. Bathrooms are good though. Teachers are okay, they never give any progress report or even return calls when we ask about our kids progress. I left note twice now just waiting on the feedback and they never return calls or even talk right after the class.

Thy gym is dirty; I don't even want to think about what's in the foam pit since you can see how old the foam blocks are. Their two best coaches, Becca and Anne left, and we did, too. I agree with the other reviewer that it's not understandable why you have to pay a gym fee for a 3 year old's class. As far as the birthday parties, I never got why the kids ate first and then played...shouldn't it be the other way around?

We loved the facility! It safe and clean, and fit for a great deal of fun! In fact my son had his birthday party there 3 years in a row, and each year was a great success! The party planner provides invitations, and options for your party. The American Academy of Gymnastics assigns 2 or three people to work with the children in the gym. It all depends upon your number of guests in attendance. You are also assigned a room before, or after the gym period to celebrate the birthday of the SPECIAL PERSON. You can have a cake, cupcakes ice cream w/ drinks....It is up to the HOST to prepare the room w/ decorations, table cloths, and food. Some people order pizza in addition to the cake and desserts. After having cake, you can open presents, or play a couple of games for the last 20 min. When the party is over, you are expected to clean up quickly for the next party. (This is quite simple when you use paper goods.)It works out quite well. Everyone has a great time running around in the gym, and then they enjoy the cake. Throwing a party @ the American Academy of Gymnastics is excellent, b/c it is easy, economical and effortless for the host, yet a great success!

Seek other gym's the staff and facility are a joke. We attended a family members birthday party today. Most of the staff was rude and obviously does not know how to handle young children for birthday party events. A male staffer was going through the rules of the gym and did not understand that 3-6 year olds full of cake and soda could not sit still and be quiet for the 10+ min of rules. When the kids started to squirm and talk he shouted at them that they could sit here as long as possible and it didn't matter to him. I also observed this individual go over to his cell phone and for what ever reason took his phone and smashed it on the ground, breaking it into little pieces all over the floor. Where little kids are running around with no shoes. It took everything inside of me to not say something. There was numerous equipment that I observed that I did not think was safe for the age group (3-6) and when my daughter wanted to try a balance beam, we were told to get off of the equipment... So why is it out in the middle of the gym during a birthday party event.... If you are looking for a birthday party event I would look else where, this place was a joke and a dump. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me post with no stars. I will never return.
