This location is great for people that live within the Lake Zurich Kildeer, Hawthorne Woods area. I think that they have a decent amount of equipment inside as well as a swimming pool and the sauna. I do think that they should upgrade a few of their equipments given that they are a little outdated however, overall fitness location pretty decent.

Great gym. Always clean, well maintained, fantastic array of equipment and machines, polite friendly staff, hot tub, sauna, and pool to boot. The other patrons are very nice too. There are the occasional teenager doing something they shouldn't but the majority are courteous, friendly people all doing their best to make themselves better. It's a great gym-amazing value.

It looks like they don’t like to turn on their AC at this gym, it’s pretty hot inside and recently they removed the paper towels. All they care about is saving as much money as they can in any way possible.

Devin The sales manager is fantastic if you sign up you must go through him.. he deserves to be head of the company!! Made my sales experience accommodating and easy. He showed me the memberships and explained the different between each one. Devin made the stressful process cheerful and smooth, and I was having doubts after seeing all the other reviews on this gym. He resolved all my doubts and I knew with someone like him I would trust the gym. Thank you!!

Dont go!!! All they care about is money. We have been there few years ago. Canceling membership was pretty difficult process. Recently my wife visited to get a quote on trainer fees. End of the day one of the trainers misbehaved and she left and was very upset from the humiliation and the whole process. I spoke to the manager named David, over phone and doubt anything will happen about it. Don't care anyways cause never going to LA fitness at Lake Zurich. But felt posting a review so that everyone knows about this.

Very unclean with hair, dust bunnies, and dirt collecting around equipment. Is often crowded by high schoolers who just stand around a talk for the most part. Bathrooms smell like rancid urine constantly.Lots of broken equipment. The handlebars on the pull-up bars have been ripped up for over a year. I’ve asked them if it could be fixed and they said they told the manager. Nothing has come of that for months.Staff is lazy, and at times aren’t manning the front desk or cafe area. One told me they didn’t feel like opening up the cafe for me to buy a water.Cheap equipment, dirty place, horrible smell, careless staff.I guess you get what you pay for.

Came on 5/29/2023, Memorial Day, the app says they are opened until 4. Doors are locked and it’s 3:15pm. Gentleman answered the phone and said they close in 15min and I mentioned the app says 4. I also said the doors are locked now and he goes “yeah we’re actually closed now”. Kids run the entire gym basically.Decent gym for the price but lots of inconsiderate young kids and a lot of the equipment is broken for extended periods of time.

Nice facility but it would be nice if people re-racked their weight. Many younger college and high school aged kids just standing around chatting while not utilizing equipment. It does get old trying to hunt down dumbbells' and curl bars not where they belong and not in use on the other side of the gym. In the 2+ years I've been going there I've only once seen an employee putting away errant equipment. I do have one suggestion, invest in one of those bathing suit spinners to dry off suits after using the pool, they are VERY convenient.

I really enjoy going to this gym. The facilities are kept clean and paper towels and disinfectant are easily available throughout. Most of the adult patrons are respectful and wipe the equipment after use. Maintenance people do a good job and are friendly and helpful.Some things that could be improved are the equipment maintenance (3 out of 6 stair machines have been broken for what seems like 6 months, water fountains dispense slowly), staff patron interactions (not all, but some staff are plain rude), and questionable machine purchase/replacement priorities.Overall, this gym offers good value for its customers.
