Convenient class times! Great instructors!Hoping classes resume soon but glad the gym is being cautious about starting the group fitness classes back up again!

Clean and well maintained gum. Had lots of free weights, dumbells stop at 120's, however could use some more 45lb plates by benches with a rack to hold them.

Do not go here. If you try to cancel they will make you come in and sign a form and then continue to charge your account. Seems the only way I'm able to get help after calling in multiple times is to make a fraud claim with my bank. No one there is helpful and they can't seem to find my form. Their systems are outdated, and not properly maintained. Every time I've called I get a run around and no one is able to help, hence filing the Fraud Claim. Stay away and just do some sit-ups and push-ups at home.

I'd like to rate 0 stars but that is not an option, front office staff can be rude and unfriendly, equipment is old and rusted, there are constant ceiling leaks, the machines are constantly down and when you ask for assistance they tell you to "hold on" and never come help out. Cancelled my account and was charged for 2 extra months, BUYER BEWARE!

Unethical and predatory business. Read all the reviews before you join.I can’t speak to the clubs atmosphere as I was called away before I was able to train there. I can, however, warn you of the culture of the club and it’s predatory cancellation policy.Be advised that you will NOT under any circumstance be able to cancel your membership without sending a certified letter or visiting the club personally. If you’re swept away in the dead of night by the Tokyo mafia and are able to make one final phone call before you’re never heard from again, they will not cancel over the phone. If you lose both arms and both legs in a freak frisbee golfing accident, and are unable to walk or write a letter, they will NOT cancel over the phone. Read other reviews. Must rush abroad to care for a critically ill loved one? They’ll still demand a personal visit or a certified letter. They will continue to take your money regardless of your condition. They will cite policy. Again and again. The will condescendingly attempt to attack your character by using phrases like “the VERY simple contract YOU signed” and accusing you of being “entitled” for “expecting us to change the rules”, and make passive aggressive statements like “I’m sorry you feel that way about terms YOU agreed to”.To be fair, I’m sure it WAS in the contract, but they certainly don’t warn you of this highly unorthodox and strangely “Faust selling his soul to the devil” like practice when you sign up. Most people reasonably assume cancellation will be a simple process, and at South Beach Fitness, they’re counting on it.It all had a very 1942 Germany “I was just following orders” sort of vibe to it, Ann Frankly I was shocked. Bad policy is bad policy. But let’s be clear, this uncompromising policy is in place for a more nefarious reason:Understand that this is a tactic used by some business in communities with a high density of seniors to prey on a demographic that can become sick, immobile, cognitively compromised and even pass away very quickly— but the auto debit will continue ad infinitum because they can’t jump through the unnecessarily stringent cancellation hoops for being too sick or too dead. Classy, South Beach Fitness, real classy. They also use the practice of slightly varying monthly membership amounts so that your credit card company can’t easily stop the recurring debit. Leaving you with only the option of canceling the payment method (which I reluctantly did). Go home South Beach Fitness... you’re drunk.Actually, scratch that... not drunk, but EVIL. Imagine intentionally preying on our precious seniors, the most vulnerable population. Anyone who brings their kids to child care there might want to be extra protective of those kiddies social security numbers and internal organs, as I wouldn’t put much past the fine folks at South Beach Fitness. Sheesh. They probably kick puppies too.I’ve had to cancel three other memberships for the same reason this week and literally the most difficulty I’ve had (outside of interacting with the South Beach Gestapo) was that I had to wait for a few hours for one of them to message me back to say “ok man no problem, hope all is well”.That’s what canceling a membership should be like. People have a right to decide where they spend their money. And at risk populations have a right to not be preyed upon, and we have the responsibility to make sure they’re protected. So if you’re cool with associating yourself with a company like this, well groovy, but understand that you’re signing on for life, and that literally no matter your circumstances, they will not budge on this predatory (and frankly outdated) cancellation policy, and will quickly resort to making snide and condescending comments if you dispute or attempt to discuss in any way.But more importantly than that, you’ll be supporting a business who’s overall morals and ethics are questionable at best, and viscous at worst, and who are solely motivated by greed and pride, and that’s a thing we should be fighting against, not giving our support to.

People who work out are friendly. Trainers are knowledgeable. Plenty of free weights and machines. People share machines when it's busy. I've enjoyed the cycle and yoga classes. Yes, many groups have been coming to work out... week, weeks...etc.
