Southside Strength Gym and Personal Training

I signed up for the 8am classes with Jake back in Jan 2022 with the goal of being strong again and I have never felt better. Jake has helped me work through my injuries and building my strength back. I look forward to going to my two classes a week! Jake has been a great trainer and everyone is so friendly there and that makes a huge difference.

This is a strength gym for youngsters, women and men. It is not a treadmill gym or a bodybuilders gym where people preen in the mirrors. And there are no obligatory “joining, activation or one time pay me fees”. This gym is about strength. There are barbells, dumbbells, machines and apparatus that some may have never seen or used. There are structured classes for barbells, bench press, glutes etc. and they are all free. There is also a weekly class for kids. The gym is staffed with certified men and women trainers. If you want to gain power, strength, muscle, mobility, endurance and change your body composition call or go see Jake. The staff is customer friendly.

I’ve never been to a gym before, at first I was nervous about it because of the perspective I developed from gym content on social media. eventually because I wasn’t satisfied with my current self I decided to give it a try and better myself and it completely changed my view about gyms. joining this gym is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, everybody is kind, respectful, and helpful. at first it was a bit of a struggle getting used to the gym since it was my first experience with one but because of my fitness trainer (shoutout to Jake) I got used to it very quickly. I’ve been going for around a year now and I feel much better than I used to. Coming from a 14 year old you has lifted weights at numerous gyms. This gym is my new home. The staff are the most friendly staff I've ever had and they know their stuff. Their great with beginners and are amazing at keeping customers doing the right form to lift weights safely. Also an amazingly affordable 24 hour gym. with everything a person needs to get their dream body. Amazing gym. I'll definitely be coming here for a while.

A great place to achieve your fitness goals, whatever they may be. My brother and I did some personal training with Jake who was amazing. He kept the workout fun while also making it challenging at the same time. Great for young athletes looking to get bigger and stronger in the off-season!

I’m so happy that I signed up with this gym! I was looking for a welcoming, no nonsense gym focused on training. For reference I am a female in her late 30s. This gym has all the equipment needed for a great workout. The prices are more than reasonable for basic gym use, classes, and personal training. I train with Jake, the owner, and Caden. Jake is a very knowledgeable about training and is very encouraging. He is very attentive and mindful about proper form and avoiding any injuries. Caden is equally amazing. It’s great when you work with people that are passionate about what they do. I enjoyed my sessions so much that I purchased some in home training sessions for my parents. Amanda was absolutely amazing with my parents! They love her. I am really happy to be a member of this gym.
