Planet Fitness, located at Old Kings Commons in Palm Coast, FL, offers a 24/7 workout environment, catering to night owls and early risers. Renovated with new equipment, this gym embraces a judgment-free philosophy, making it welcoming for beginners. Friendly staff members, like Maryann and Billie Jean, and cleanliness are notable positives. The gym features diverse equipment including treadmills, weight machines, and hydrobeds. Despite positive aspects, some members report overcrowding and outdated equipment. Convenient parking and a variety of amenities draw in locals, but customer service inconsistency and strict cancellation policies could be improved.

On our first visit with a Black Card, Billie Jean did a great job of showing us all the benefits at Planet Fitness.

They removed the lay down hydrobeds… the upright ones don’t do half as good a job. Please bring back the lay down style beds. Please install paper towel dispensers in the restrooms. Those fart fans are disgusting. Planet fitness is all about cleanliness until everyone is blowing farts on their wet hands

Got a really weird email from the "general manager" talking about my having "originally comment[ed]" a "10 out of 10" experience, and encouraging me to elaborate on my "original comment."It's weird because it was made to seem like I'd already giving an outstanding review, when I hadn't. Even gave a time and date when I'd supposedly provided this review. It just seems shady to me to lead someone to leave a review by making them think that one has already been left in their name, thus making them feel the need to correct it.In all fairness, the gym off King's Road is a good one, and I feel comfortable going there; whereas, the one in Ormond Beach is a disaster of filth, who's bathrooms I'll never be stepping in again (if you can even get to them up the RIDICULOUSLY steep stairs).

I have been a member at other gyms throughout the country in the past. The best was a brand new Jack Lalanne in LA (when CA was a great place) it had everything. Including a huge steambath and saunas. But I'll give Plant Fitness a thumbs-up. They finally upgraded a good deal of equipment. Now guys how about those treadmills and floors? The GM Judy does a great 👍 job.
