In-Shape Family Fitness

Been with this gym for a few years now and I still enjoy it. The staff is pleasant and they try to keep the gym always looking nice.

After about a month, I can say this gym has its ups and downs. They take forever to repair any broken equipment. Saturday mornings suck as the high school kids are dirty and don’t rerack the weights and equipment. There’s one sitting calve machine. But they have like 20 ab machines. You will see the occasional homeless person wondering about. The hot water in the showers isn’t very good. The staff is very friendly which is a plus. They tend to play the same song on repeat so headphones are a must. All and all it’s ok.

I love coming to In-Shape although there are things I don’t like. First, they take forever to fix their equipment, it’s been over a week that the leg extension has been out of service. That’s what the annual fee is for (to fix the equipment). Second, it’s always packed in the afternoon full of teenagers just talking without working out and taking up the machines while some of us actually go there to workout. Third, when are you bringing back family swim time, I don’t understand why they haven’t brought it back. Fourth, there needs to be more family activities.

I love this gym. The staff is very nice and courteous. They make me feel very welcome as soon as I come in, and they almost always wish me a good day when I leave, which is good energy. Why the 4 stars then? Only because some of the club members come to socialize and hog the equipment while carrying on a 15 minute conversation and not allowing others to use the equipment. Also the dumbells are not available as the members don't re-rack them accordingly. Other than that it is a pleasure to work out and distress at inshape.

I have been a client for more than 5 years and the new workers are very rude and rude they treat you as if they were doing you the favor of letting you in. I bought the membership for two of my daughters and none of those in front. I'm talking about no policy. Now they won't let her in and they want to charge me for removing the bills. A certain Kevin helped me. I took a long time to explain that only use the pool and he tells me that that's not their problem, they just can't get in. What kind of customer service do they have? I communicated with the corporation to make my claim because it is not fair

I like the trainers. What I don't like is the sauna is either broken or crowded, the hot tub floor doesn't always feel clean, the bicycles are horrible as in they are so hard it's like riding be a knife...I had a excellent bike trainer but I could finish the class the bike hurt too bad . I don't like the showers they are gross . They really need to clean this place thoroughly.

I came to the gym at 10 Pm tonight to get a quick workout in. I honestly was going to leave to leave on time, I respect the gyms hours. In the middle of a chest workout the workers started flashing the lights on and off twice and startled me. I thought it might be a electrical issue but then they started flashing every minute. I have worked in customer service for 7 years and I find this really rude and disrespectful. Luckily I was not hurt, but I will definitely not be coming to this gym ever again. I understand people want to go home but this is not the way to get the message across. This really dangerous, I will be recommending anyone this gym. Unfriendly staff.

Always clean, plenty of equipment, kind staff. This gym is definitely the best by far

A first time gym goer I feel like this is a great gym. Offers great classes and had tons of workout equipment!
