I have been going here for a few months. The main reason I picked this gym was due to the fact they are open 24 hrs, which fit my schedule. The staff is super friendly, they offer lots of help planning workouts, etc, and everything always seems clean!

This place is going downhill. Love the gym itself, it's super clean, the machines always work and they have more than one machine for each type.The problem is they only let the massage machines run for 5 minutes!!! It's not enough time! I belonged to another PF and they gave us 10 min!Now, to downgrade my membership to the regular, they want to sign me to a year contract! This has never been PF's policy before, but to get a no commitment at this location, I have to pay 15.00! What??? I did some research and other locations still offer 10.00 month with no contract!I've been a member since they opened, I like the gym, but I'm switching....I can get more at another location.I'm sad, i was really a strong supporter of this gym. Still like PF, just not the ownership at this location. Can anyone say lack of service and greed?UPDATE: 5/16/18I received this response posted: Response from the owner 52 minutes agoWe always want you to get the most out of your time at our clubs, Marina. We encourage you to reach out directly to the management team at your home club regarding your concerns. Rest assured, they'd work double time to make things right for you.UPDATE: 5/16/18-I have spoken to the club! No manager is ever there. And the club employees all say the same thing, that's the new program, it's all they have. So, again, to post a generic response which doesn't address the issue or fix the problem, this is an example of lack of service!!! I'm getting more and more disappointed in the PF in Palmdale every day! I still like PF in general, but will not be supporting the PF's in the Antelope Valley by this owner. Again, they were good when they opened, but clearly this owner is getting greedy! Especially when other PF's don't operate this way.

The gym itself is nice. But customer service is weird I tried to call to cancel was told to have to do it in person. Then I got charged $58 to cancel doesn't make sense to me. Never signing up to planet fitness again

Glad I joined! I love that it's 24 hours. Equipment clean and available 90% of the time I'm there. My old gym wasn't so great and I was paying more.

The machines are nice and the location is super convenient, but the staff are some of the most unfriendly people I have ever dealth with. There are one or two that are ok, but the others act like it is an inconvenience to work there. I have a black card membership that I don't use because of this issue. This is supposed to be a no judgement zone so stop judging people.

I've been coming to this gym since March and I like it. $10 a month seems like a deal for gym membership. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and I can always find a machine for cardio. People don't seem to be as loud as in 24hr fitness where I used to go before this gym.

The vibe here is way better than another gym that is open every hour of the day! Everyone is there to JUST work out! It's not a dating site, a social club, or a relax on the machines spot. Everybody cleans up after themselves and the staff is always awesome too!

The equipment is the best! Super clean and friendly staff. Great location. Brand new building.

I had the lunk alarm go off on me, and as kind of a beginner I wasn't sure what I did to set it off. Was I breathing too hard? Was the way I set the weights down bad? Was my form not good?Would have definitely rather had someone come over and let me know what I was doing wrong first rather than set an alarm off and make everyone look at me and judge me. Doesn't seem congruent with the judgement free theme to make a spectical out of someone who doesn't know what they are doing wrong. Was super embarrassed and probably won't be returning to this location.

Nazi Youth Camp Leaders in Training!Ok, the club is nice and new and the business model is pretty good, but at this particular location something has happened with the training of the "on the floor" personal. Planet Fitness has this Black Card Members only section (message chairs, tanning booths, etc) - you pay double the price. They also have a "comfort zone" - couches, tv's - an area to relax basically. DO NOT USE THIS AREA? Why you may ask, you paid extra for it, why not use it all?In the "lounge" area if you want to close your eyes to meditate for 1-2 minutes, you will be met with, "What are you doing?" Basically, do not close eyes - even for 10 seconds! You will get hassled, judged and basically made to feel rotten because to you, closing your eyes is relaxing - to Planet Fitness, relaxing before or after your work out should NOT be done as the over zealous staff will harass and just piss the holy *rap out of you!
