For the longest time I thought any gym would be an intimidating place, but South Pas Fitness has changed my mind. I wouldn’t have joined this gym (or any gym for that matter) but for a friend’s unequivocal recommendation. And was she right! All staff at South Pas Fitness are extremely friendly and helpful. Group classes like Zumba with Isabel Rivas and Yoga with Cindy Mendoza are amazing and fun-filled.The person most instrumental in guiding me to get healthier and stronger is a personal trainer, Chris Eicher. Chris radiates passion for fitness and working with others. He has several certifications in personal training and fitness, and he continues seeking self-improvement to better serve his clients. He documents all his clients’ progress (in fact he knows how much I’ve improved better than I do). He constantly raises my limits but is encouraging, compassionate, and never pushy. Chris modifies each session to fit my physical condition of the day and to make it challenging and fun. I can arrive at a training session completely stressed out about work but always manage to leave with a smile on my face.Even though I’ve only worked with Chris for the past 3 months, the results are real. I can feel muscles building on my arms and legs. And now that I’m gaining strength, it makes other group exercise classes easier to follow, too. I find myself looking forward to working out—which was impossible only a short 3 months ago. I can’t thank Chris enough! I recommend South Pas Fitness—and especially Chris—to anyone.
