My experience was quite different from some of the other reviews here. The classes I observed were well structured, and most importantly the kids were laughing and smiling and having fun. The instructors provided a safe and fun experience. For beginners, this seems like a great environment.

Terrible experience for my 6 year old who tried a trial class and left in tears. No direction, no one knew her name, total chaos from start to finish see no value here. We will take our business elsewhere.

I met with the owners and they are absolutely top notch! As a former elite gymnast who comes from a family of gymnasts and gymnastics coaches in Oklahoma, I can tell you they know what they’re doing!

We went for a trail class and the instructor gave us the waiver to fill out. The instructor knew we were there and never bothered to bring our girl out. The instructor said for level 1 to get out on the floor and failed to tell the trails to get out on the floor. We waited 30 minutes. We will not be bringing her here again. Poor communication and no actual "trail class". And if I could give 0 stars, I would.

I waited to post a review because I wanted it to be based on a full experience. After some time these are my thoughts, hope it helps another. When we started my daughter was in level 1 recreational with an amazing coach! Coach missy is very experienced and great with kids, while making sure they are developing all skills.I want to point out that this gym focuses on competing. So it is the gym for you if you want to compete or even just get your feet wet in STRICT recreational class. It is not for long term recreational classes. After missy and a couple other great coaches, we had one hiccup with another coach that we felt did not match the training style my daughter needed however at that point she was competing (in a lower level) and was not going to quit mid season. After finishing her season I explained all concerns to the owner and she was able to move my daughter to another competing group and place her where I felt was a right fit within reason. We are now very content and excited to see our daughter’s growth in a sport that she enjoys.Flames (HV) gym is friendly, clean and affordable. The one issue that remains is communication, it needs to be better. If you want a stricter setting where your child will learn at a good pace and get great instruction while staying fit this is the place for you.No one place will work for everyone however I have been to other gyms and this gym is the better of many. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side, so we will be at this gym for some time.

If I can give this place a -5, I would. The only reason I came to this “business” was because oasis gymnastics had a wait to get in. My daughter just turn 3 and we decided to take her here but unfortunately It was a horrible experience. The tall skinny blonde young girl who teaches on Monday evenings is about the rudest person I’ve encountered. She had an extremely bad attitude since the minute we walked in and had a disgusting demeanor towards my 3 year old daughter. From her rolling her eyes when my daughter didn’t do exactly what she said to talking aggressively to my daughter when she didn’t follow instructions properly. My daughter is 3 not 13. It’s really not that hard to comprehend that and she failed miserably at doing so. My daughter is still developing. In no way shape or form should any parent have to sit and watch their 3 year old get treated in such a disgusting way. We’ve brought this to the owner’s attention (The Asian lady) and she laughed and said that “we are not the only one who’s had issues with this young gal.” We proceeded to asking to speak to the young gal and did so. At this point the owner now has talked really highly of the young gal and Completely contradicted herself when the young gal was in front of us. Not to mention the young girl denied everything when we completely watched everything happen. We ended up getting pulled from the waitlist from oasis gymnastics. Friendly professional staff, awesome instructors. Nothing compared to this place and not to mention it is a bigger and better gymnasium. I would NOT recommend this place at all. No innocent child should be treated the way my daughter was treated.

Called for a trial class and was told to come on Tuesday for trail cause there would be less kids. My daughter was one of 7 girls. Instructor shouted at all the girls. When my daughter would ask for help she would get yelled at. I tried talking to receptionist who was too busy having her hair braided to be bothered. Told if I wanted my daughter to improve I would need to sign her up for more classes. Horrible Horrible experience. If you take your child there I pray they won’t be hurt.
